Tristan Rogers looks Sooo handsome. 🥰 I love watching Luke & Laura's two adventures, my favorite years of General Hospital. It was on the verge of cancellation and Gloria turned it around and gave us some fantastic entertainment. The writing, the characters, the music and the storylines stand the test of time. This is 40 yrs ago and I love watching, this is pure happiness. 💜💜

Funny, after Luke knocks Robert out (with a phone...very good shot) he checks on Robert. When Robert had Luke knocked out he checked on Luke. They are just sooo considerate! LOL

A year later...I've watched this SAGA again! I loved how the writers involved Laura with Robert to keep Luke jealous. But the tit-for-tat with Luke and Laura "I don't need you..I don't care..Blah blah" was old.

TG wasn't too crazy about the RS character at first (not sure how he felt about TR) according to his comments in an interview. In a later interview Genie, when asked about working with TG commented that she was determined to "keep up" as an actor and in the same interview when asked about TR said, "that's another wild man". She was alluding to TG being a wild man too. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall. She also said many of her and TG's favorite moments weren't on camera but at rehearsals and how much they laughed together and TG, who was in the same interview with Genie, agreed.

I think that interview also said that, in regard to TR, TG was very protective over Genie.

I do know that TG said that in the beginning he thought TR was trying to take his place but realized that wasn't the case and they became great friends.

Iron sharpens iron and so the two men made one another better. They were very different charachters and in the end Robert did replace Luke as he scooted off to try other things. What would we have done without Scorpio to fill the void he left???💔

I have spent quite a while pondering what it is about the Luke character that is indelible. Here is what I think- he is multifaceted: He's heroic, vulnerable, sexy, gentlemanly when it serves him, romantic, desperate, needy, strong, brave, protective, loving to his women. He's also uncontrollable, incorrigible, wisecracking, sarcastic, aggravating, pig-headed, abusive, impulsive, grasping, jealous. He's exciting to viewers and unpredictable. Contrast him with Robert Scorpio who always keeps his cool no matter what. His witty repartee is also a feature. These two play off each other perfectly cause they are opposites. With Luke we watch to see which emotion will display cause it's guaranteed. With Robert, to see if his cool will crack and IF he'll show emotion.

I love this. Luke and Robert together are the world's best bromance. Luke, Laura and Scorpio is a perfect trio. They are so entertaining. I love how they use Scorpio to make Luke jealous. ❤ LnL forever.

I kept watching waiting for Laura to come back. He was not the same. He was not nice to Holly. It was never right with Luke snd Holly. When Laura came back it was awesome for only a few weeks and when they left I stopped watching for a long while. It sucked.

Laura was always more mature than Alex. Alex has issues! Laura has gone thru so much trauma and she's still amazing...same for Luke. That's why they match up so well!!!💯
