GH3 Custom: Soulless 4

It's been a long wait but here it is. The chart and audio in the video is slightly different than what is released. The song is being automatically played by a bot.
According to FL Studio, I've spent about 52 hours on the song over the past month or so. The time spent working out the hacks has been longer than that.

he is, although it will not include anything from before Coalescence and Segmentation. Album is called neural noise and should release within a year depending on how fast he finishes the rest of the songs on it. "Pact" "Darkest Dancer" and "The Discovery of the Soul" are a few of the working titles for songs on the album.

Jake Daily The hack isn't finished yet. As stated in the comments the hopo chords and tapping notes have rather loose logic right now. I have a few other things to look into. One of the issues I have right now is that there's no star power active sprite for battle notes so right now tapping notes look like normal notes when star power is active. Ideally I need to figure out how to inject completely new textures and new material properties. This also poses a problem because GHTCP is a whiny bitch and doesn't know how to deal with a modified main qb file so if I were to edit that (which I almost certainly would need to) people wouldn't be able to add customs anymore as they'd have to revert it every time. Overlapping star power would suffer the same issue. You would not be able to see the star power phrases when active as they would show up as normal notes. The byte code for Neversoft's qbscript hasn't been fully reversed and as such GH3 scripts can't be decompiled properly. I am considering looking into this. I wanted to look into the possibility of Direct IP online play because Activision shut down the registration servers for GH3 online accounts. Someone also asked me to look into crashing over online when there's more than 100 songs on a playlist or so. Likely memory corruption just like the note limit. This is more related to the first thing I mentioned but I'm also going to make a DLL loader for GH3 so other people that are knowledgeable enough can make plugins for GH3 without requiring a new exe each time. The new note limit fix already exists as a DLL but without a loader, it has to be injected manually.

It's been about 3 years. The song that had revived the guitar hero trend has gone unfced for so long. Two players, Acai and Darkly are inching closer to the fc. Many players gave up on this song, the most notable of them is Randy. A wild card approaches, leafgreen, who is slowly getting closer to the 2 main contenders. Ukog (now) also trains soulless 4, what a time to be alive. I think the fc is gonna go to Alec honestly but Darkly is pretty close too.
