The name Accra did not come from many ant hill in Accra, but from the migrant from Ile ife through the sea to Lagos, badagary to Benin, Lome, Accra Ghana. It was the Ashanti people on the coast of Accra saw the migrant in their canoes. They were so much that they can't count them. And they said these people are as"NKRANI( ants) the word NKRANI is from twe language not Ga language. Ga people are migrant from Ile ife, Nigeria.

Ga people are not Migrants from Nigeria. Just like the rest of the tribes in Ghana, Ga tribe originally migrated from Egypt. Ga people passed through Sudan and that part of Nigeria to finally settle in Ghana. The other tribes of Ghana also passed through Sudan and other parts of Africa to settle in Ghana, that doesn’t make them a product of those countries. Ile ife and Nigerian tribes also travelled from elsewhere to finally settle in Nigeria. Stop the misinformation and reducing a whole tribe to this. Ps: Ga people also passed through Benin and Togo, settled there for a bit before moving on to their current destination. Why are these two countries not claiming that Ga people are from Benin and Togo? There is currently a Ga tribe that remained in Togo, they don’t claim to be Nigerian. NIgerians are the only people who claims something that doesn’t belong to them. To be a migrant of a country, you need to be an origin of that country.
