Good to see the sights of Ghana, I am Jamaican but I have ancient ancestry maternal descent from the Fante people of Ghana, interestingly my maternal family who came to the Jamaica was among the first Jamaicans of the African people who came to the island and are now the oldest settlers living on the island today they are called the Maroons.

The change has to be nationwide not just Accra. The Northern & upper regions, Brong Ahafo and Volta region especially need some serious makeover. Central region, particularly Cape Coast, the oldest city in Ghana has been neglected and reduced to a mere ancient colonial/museum town. All these places need infrastructure development. Accra is very tiny. it is the smallest in Ghana in terms of land area yet that is where everything is and it's causing excessive urban migration. We cannot put everything there and say Ghana has changed. Other people in other regions have to feel the change too without needing to come all the way to Accra

Good points. The changes in Accra are great to see. This is also similar to the problem that Nigeria was having decades ago when everything was centered in Lagos. Now, the federal capital has been moved to Abuja and that state is rapidly developing. But there’s also development in the East, in Port Harcourt, Calabar, Enugu, etc. It’s fine to start from one point but you def don’t want to “neglect” others.

I can proudly and honestly tell u that most business in Africa are own by the locals. Mostly Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria are very industrious. Some also own by foreign investors like any other countries. So yes it's mostly own by Ghanaians.

As a Ghanaian, I appreciate your effort to showcase the country to the world and yet for very selfish and other reasons, some times I wish we didn't put it out there so much. I am a very proud Ghanaian and wouldn't trade for the world. I'm very fortunate to be able to travel anywhere and I've been to a few places and yet Ghana is the only country that makes my heart sing. Sometimes, I just wish we could keep things to ourselves and slowly and quietly develop it and not feel like we need to impress anybody. As beautiful as Ghana is , we still have a lot of work to do to make it comfortable for all our citizens so there would be no need for our young people to migrate.
