The truth is Ghanaian universities are doing well. The competition is pretty fierce. The university of Cape Coast is now the best in Ghana and West Africa and 7th in Africa. I wish the rest of the Ghanaians in the diaspora will emulate the example of Patrick Awuah to come and establish something in Ghana. May God bless our homeland Ghana and it great and strong.

Fun facts. 40% of Aseshi University are foreigners, most of whom are from 40 African countries. Most of Aseshi University is on scholarships, including free travel to their countries. Mastercard alone provides over three hundred scholarships. Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, the World Bank, Google, etc. also contribute. Multinationals come to the country to recruit. 95% of graduating students receive job offers home and abroad before they graduate. You can get straight As and still be refused admission, while disadvantaged students will be admitted with lesser grades (your admission is based on your background and potential). You have to complete community service before you graduate. Their alumni are the most loyal. They use the honor system: there are no invigilaters during exams, and the students monitor each other for cheating, which has been very successful. Most of the students go back to their respective countries to establish non-profit organizations and businesses. Most of the students pursue graduate studies all over the world. The founder used the money he earned from Microsoft to establish the school.
