Love the market, love the laundry, love the cooking. Ghana is expensive, but if I compare it to pounds, it's okay. However, if I live in Ghana, it's expensive. Good job!

Maybe I’m tripping but that’s veryy reasonable considering you don’t go that often, but also I live in NC so it’s beyond expensive for food lol and I have two kids as well. The struggle is real. I’m visiting Ghana solo on 5/22 celebrating my bday, this has been my dream trip for over 10 years and I’ve randomly found your page and been binge watching. I’m also a hair stylist and a haircare business owner. Would love to connect on social media ❤

Get house help or at least even a mobile clothes wash lady who comes by every so often to wash by hand at least some of the more delicate items. Sheets, comforters and towels can go to the laundry.

@GabbyMack just like me. Born and raised in Ghana, abd never had anyone touch my personal stuff, let alone wash them! Eeeeee! The crazy Virgo in me will just not allow me to! Ugh! I remember being young and my mom tried to help me by throwing a couple of my stuff she found, into her wash, I came home abd my clothes were hanging on the line with her stuff, uùuuu I started crying! My own mother! Nope, don't touch my personal stuff!

@@GabbyMack lol I know that but it seems like it's cheaper to live in Kumasi than in Accra. It seems like the prices are artificially inflated in Accra due to everything being so central there.

Good insight into living and earning/ spending in Ghana. Piece of feedback. The background music, especially the home cooking segment is just too loud. It drowns your narration. The background music should be barely noticeable. Hope this helps. ✌🏿❤️💯
