EKOO! Choir from Sweden, led by Eva Kunda NEIDEK, makes a short, singing stopover in Kpando Torkor, Volta Region, May 2016.
The songs sung here were shared to Eva by either Albert Dzah (Kpeve/Accra) or Dzifa Amedzorku (Tsito/Mepe).
EKOO! is a Swedish choir founded by Eva in 2006, performing African repertoires, and among them is the Ghanaian repertoire in Ewe very central.
EKOO!s Ghana Tour took place in Volta Region and Greater Accra in May 2016, in collaboration with local choirs. The tour was coordinated by Senyo ADZEI and made possible thanks to support from Lunds Missionssällskap (Lund, Sweden).
