This is the beauty of someone coming in from another country or even when we Africans travel to the West we see ways to make things better and there is nothing wrong with that ! Instead of building completely modern which is the trend now in Ghana, this is a traditional African compound taken into the 21st century .I love the pathways running throughout the compound and will be incorporating that into my house, instead of the current trend in Ghana of cementing the whole compound!! The addition of running water and electricity. The traditional mud huts ,made comfortable . The shock on your mother in-laws face when she walked into the hut !!My grandmother lived in a mud hut just like this and would have loved all the modern touches! No trash anywhere ! Beautiful!

Very sweet! This reminds me of the relationship I had with my mother in law. We also came from two different worlds with some communication barriers in the beginning. But we developed a strong mutual love and respect for each other. She was truly a mother to me, She passed away in 2019 and I miss her very much.😢
