Apostle Nana Kantanka, who else has God used to make Ghana so proud as we all can see; Technology, Innovation and job creation. Now that Ghana is anticipating a forward match as a result of the outgoing damaging government, a dream we have long awaited , we pray that your beautiful innovative cars will begin to go continental. Ghana is PROUD OF YOU. APOSTLE. I personally believe it is the Lord’s doing. HOME- GROWN. Thank you.

@Frank123.364 күн бұрын
The items shown in the video aren't truly inventions, as most of them already exist. Additionally, the parts used are mostly, if not entirely, sourced from China, and none were manufactured by the creator. As someone who follows the tech world closely, I find nothing particularly impressive here. I'm also confident that the electric vehicle showcased lacks full self-driving capabilities, or even supervised driving features, since the most recent Electric vehicles have that feature.

You seem to lack a comprehensive understanding of the global automobile industry. Tell me which of the leading car manufacturers in that world that dont outsource some of their parts elsewhere? Even in the aerospace industry, the leading manufacturer of airplane like Boeing outsource some of their parts including engines elsewhere. You do realize that outsourcing is necessary in order to remain competitive in this dynamic and constantly changing automobile industry. It helps to reduce the overall cost of production per unit in order to have a sale price that's within the range of its competitors.
@Frank123.364 күн бұрын
@zongonative7397 Outsourcing parts from other companies can be expensive, which is why many automobile manufacturers opt to buy or merge with their suppliers. Also outsourcing is expensive than producing on your own. The benefits of producing on your own outweighs that of outsourcing. For example, several well-known car companies have acquired the businesses they previously relied on for parts. While companies like Boeing outsource some components, others, like Kantanka, outsource nearly 98% (if not all) of their parts, leading to higher production costs and more expensive cars. It’s essential to remember that the automobile industry is not just about technology; it’s also about strategic business decisions.
@AdamTAYLOR-yd8xp4 күн бұрын
@@zongonative7397and how is it going for Boeing after two decades of outsourcing? Before this unveiling his son had bought a similar looking car from china . We appreciate the effort of assembly (which should help us reverse engineer stuff) but until we own a unit that will create body panels from indigenous Ghanaian creators and build engines here as well as chassis there should not be any thing to celebrate ! Wake up
@zongonative73974 күн бұрын
@@Frank123.36 Well the topic of whether outsourcing is cheap or expensive depends on the company in question. If Kantanka finds outsourcing to be a cheap option to meet an end goal based on business objectives or goals , how can you argue that its expensive? At least use data or economic figures to back your argument if you believe otherwise. You cant just make blanket assumptions if you haven't even reviewed their annual financial statements or balance sheet over the years. I own a 2024 VW Atlas Cross Sport SEL Rline SUV and you will be surprised to notice even VW outsources some of its parts elsewhere (I told you this because I want you look it up yourself). Also, If you have lived in the USA around 2020 -2022 and have tried to buy a car within this period, you would have notice of a global supply chain issues concerning the shortage of semi-conductors used in cars. It caused automakers to slash their production schedules which consequently affected their revenues. Additionally, even the steel, mirrors, tires, batteries, semiconductors, sound system, camera system and glass body parts for cars are produced and supplied by other steel, mirror, tire, batteries, semiconductors, sound system, camera system and glass manufacturing companies for these automakers. (You can look it up as to which companies supply VW, Benz,Toyota etc, these parts to manufacture their cars) Based on what is outlined above, you will understand that foreign automakers even outsource more than 50% of its parts elsewhere. You seem like an educated person, but I believe you need more research on this topic area in order to be able to this comparative analysis. I want you compare apple to apple rather than just making assumption.
@Frank123.364 күн бұрын
@zongonative7397 You’ve shared some valid points, but they actually strengthen the argument I’m making. The reality is that Kantanka’s cars are expensive primarily because they rely on outsourcing a significant portion of their parts. This increases production costs compared to foreign automakers who benefit from economies of scale due to their global networks and massive production volumes. The fact that even VW and other global automakers outsource is not the issue here-they have the scale, technological expertise, and logistics to keep costs competitive despite outsourcing. Kantanka, on the other hand, does not yet operate at such a scale, and their outsourcing leads to higher costs per unit, making their cars more expensive than imported ones. Even the son of Kantanka himself acknowledged this challenge. Now, let’s consider this: If Kantanka were to invest in manufacturing more of their parts locally, the initial setup might be costly, but over time it would reduce dependency on external suppliers, potentially lower production costs, and make their vehicles more affordable. This would not only make Kantanka competitive on pricing but also stimulate local industries and reduce reliance on imports. Finally, these are not just assumptions-they are backed by evidence and statements from the company itself. The high cost of Kantanka cars compared to imports is precisely why many Ghanaians choose foreign brands. This isn’t an issue of personal bias; it’s an economic reality that affects consumer choice.
