That was just the same as I last saw the place. At the end of a winters day and no one else around. Beautiful, but I wouldn't fancy it in the summer, that is for the younger ones who don't mind crowds and who can walk around those steep roads with ease. Thanks Steve.

We love Ghar Lapsi, we went here first in the late 80s with our Maltese friend Marlene and had spaghetti rabbit at ta Rita’s (well I did anyway!) Great for snorkelling in the bay, the main Cave seems to have changed, I’m sure you used to be able to swim into it? Very popular with the Maltese, not easy to find as a visitor, which isn’t a bad thing! We’ll give that cafe a try next time we’re there.

Google maps says a 21 to 22 minute walk from the 'Bajjada, Siggiewi, Malta bus station' and a 41 minute walk from the 'Hassajtek, Siggiewi, Malta bus station'. I wonder if there can be a safe and legal shortcut from 'Ħaġar Qim' to the 'Ghar Lapsi' area, because that would be the fastest way there.
