People should stop buying unnecessary flats - 2 flats, 3 flats, etc. etc. There should be extra tax for person purchaing 2nd property, even higher for 3rd property and so on. Make one purchase per family at minimal tax.

FIRST Home or Upgrade of existing home owner should be TAX FREE. Reason: A) It's a basic necessity. B) It was GOI responsibility to provide such basic necessity to its honest tax paying citizens, especially when m8nisters and GOI employees enjoy such a privileges. C) He is buying it from his tax paid income. D) 2nd home buyers & luxury 2000 carpet+ home may be levied 100 % GST.

Taxes will go up in every sector. The debt on the country is going up like crazy. Taxes will increase much more than this. The interest on debt was 19% of 2024 budget and this is only a beginning. This % will grow and to service the debt government will have no option but to increase existing taxes and levy new ones.

very good point of agreement. people just go behind beauty of apartment and buy it without much considering agreement clauses. They only realise when they suffer from it. I rejected ready possession flats too because of unfavourable clauses in the past.

Simple solution...... working people can stay in cities and non working family members can shift to villages. Middle class can enjoy higher standards of living in villages. There is no tax liabilities for food, transport Eg.. you can have cycle for transport, solar panel for electricity, buy vegetables directly from local community This way middle class can help themselves and support local village community

Developer should not buy extra FSI to avoid taxes. But they will do for their own profit, extra gst will be 10k per flat but builders will increase flat price by 10 lakhs. And fo0ls will till buy flats. Flats prices are inflated and videos like these helping builder inflate price. They will create fear in your mind

The government has taken a calculated risk. Even if they impose retrospective GST on FSI, it will primarily impact the higher middle class-a small segment of the population that seldom votes. I am fully confident there will be no protests, even if the GST is applied retrospectively.

It is good to levy GST on FSI. This will improve transparency in the system. Now Govt should increase the circle rate to curb black money. Also Govt should give home loan only to actual buyer / user. Home loan should be given to only those who will not be allowed to sell the property for 20 years. All these steps will reduce the price in long run. Higher prices of property or home is due to speculation and not because of Govt taxes. Earlier the common man understood this fact, better for them

People have started the Congress BJP debate without understanding full facts. The 55th council meeting has deferred the decision. Not implemented yet. About politics, the simple fact is any government would appease voters. The middle class wants a holiday on voting day, so cannot blame any Government. Congress too had a scheme like Ladli Bahin in the manifesto. In short they'd have also increased taxes if elected. I am also a middle class home buyer so I feel everyone's pain.

I regret my decision of voting in favor of current Government. Instead could have experienced something good by voting to other parties. We know that all parties are corrupt but at least the new Government could have done some betterment for middle class. I recall the same situation Congress did to public and finally people voted against a long ruled party and were doing all for their own good. Similar stand need to be taken now.

@@sankalp05021992 Investors never register or do stamp duty...They have a Mou with the builders, so they give lump some and block the flat. So GST wouldnt qualify while investors are pumping dumping.

GST on FSI and GST on under construction property are two different things. Builders anyway work on margins higher than 60% usme bhi ab agar legally unko daaka daalne ki permission mil jaaye toh kya hi baat hai.

For a common man in India when ever faced with a situation when he gets fleeced by extracting illegally more than what is due he has 2 choices (1) Pay up by trying to negotiate as much as possible and focus on earning back that undue amount paid in 2-3 years. (2) Fight as a common man for justice against the power full syndicate of govt departments and the builders etc through the judicial system,if you are lucky you will surely get justice after fighting for nearly 5-20 years and you can pat yourself but if you calculate the cost of justice counting not just the amount spent on lawyer fees but the time taken in which you not just lost your prime working age but also the mental cost you will kick yourself for being a fool for choosing this instead of option 1. Jai Hind.. this is India were justice is not just delayed in most cases but in few cases justice is dispensed after demise.

Waise it can be seen ki aajkal IT raids bhi corrupt baabuo par kaafi jyaada bhadh chuki hai, abhi abhi MP mai ek baabu ke yaha 56 KG Gold, 95 kg silver and around 10 crore cash mila hai. Aise hi ek ek sarkaari baabuo ko nishaana banayenge to shayad janta ke oopar tax ka bojh kuch kam kar sakenge. Lets see how it goes.
