Actually this Traditional Marriage List is not supposed to be exhaustive. Its the bare minimum the family can consider. It doesnt mean you should do exactly what is provided only. If you feel you can do more, no one stops you from doing that. Skanty, 200ghc can be a lot of money for some farming folks, as well 1000ghc can be very small money for some urban folks. So it really depends on the family, the list that is given, and the capacity of you as the groom to do more outside of the list.

Scanty, this is the required list based on tradition. All the other things they add in a list are not part and not needed for marriage. The Akonta sika, some families even accept 50gh. It is only a formality and not meant for you the brother to decide. In the olden days, they used to take sowing machines, but here they are taking 1,500gh for setup. By the time you are done buying the clothes and everything you will spend like 15k don't forget the refreshments you will do no come yet ooo the one on the list is just for the family. So, from this list, consider like 25k in total to complete it.
