Today we are back in Baltimore, Maryland which as of 2023 is America's 3rd most dangerous city. On our last visit we toured the hoods on the West Side so this time we came back and visited the city's North and East Sides.
We start out in the North Central area of the city driving down Greenmount Avenue and end our tour on the East Side taking in the sights along the way. The city has over 14, 600 vacant and abandoned properties. Please note that the red markers on many of these buildings are in place to help first responders identify unsafe vacant homes, buildings or structures.
Baltimore has been struggling for decades. High crime, high poverty rates and high murder rates are the normal here. Like most American cities, it has been on a downward trajectory since the 1950's. The city's population is almost half of what it was at it's peak. They say "once you hit rock bottom, can only go up." ... But where does this city go from here? Do you see Baltimore bouncing back to it's former glory, or are it's better days behind it? Please let us know what you think in the comments!
Thank you for watching! Most Importantly Enjoy! Please LIKE, SHARE, and SUBSCRIBE!

Why not highlight the wonderful neighborhoods in Baltimore. Always the negative! What about Original Northwood, Roland Park, Guilford, Homeland. Baltimore is 92 sq. miles and the hood comprises about maybe a third of it. It is a beautiful city.

There's a lot of the area around Greenmount and North Ave. in the video. If you go a few blocks west, you will find Charles Village, and Johns Hopkins University. Those are some very nice and safe areas. Just west of that are Hampden (pronounced Ham-den) and Roland Park, which are also pretty nice. That's just the way Baltimore is. Very nice places right next to some very sketchy places.

What I find to be really sad is to see a long series of row houses boarded up, gang writing on them, clearly abandoned, with one row house still preserved, the resident still trying to maintain a presence in a dying neighborhood.

Exactly! Before Reaganomics & the FAKE so called WAR ON DRUGS! Baltimore was a proud thriving city like many other non white places! The difference is the gov’t turned its back & those who could leave, fled, aside from homeowners who refuse to sell out for pennies.

We were doing good until white ppl got jealous cus we didn't need them and were doing better than the average white person so yall came destroyed them with bombs and angry mobs.
