Brother, this is a UK Grime Beat. The MCs don't rap on the normal Hip hop beat of 2-4-6. They use 1-3-5 as an example. KSO watched a few of these and finally got it.Once you listen to Grime for abit you will understand it better. Peace

This is ghetts when grime was still alive his bars are still heavy! his flow and cadence are unique to him but that being said the mans a beast! He has totally perfected his style but there's nothing better than old school ghetts even when he was ghetto but that's just coming from a grime kid.

It’s a pretty basic bar but I don’t think any American has caught “its like doing a 3 point turn in the desert, that’s a pointless move” perhaps you guys call it a k-turn or a broken u-turn I’ve heard them called that a couple times here in Australia. They’re used for tight streets where there isn’t much room so doing one in a wide open desert would be a pointless move

Mine too. Easily the best ever. Really introduced me to a higher level of rapping. The levels!!! I didn’t get it at all at first. I found it jarring. I couldn’t tune in. Then one day, I listened to it again, and 🤯🤯🤯🤯 my ears levelled up. I had to listen again and again. Well over 100 times. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. So far beyond anything anyone else is doing. The flows!!! The pockets!!! The levels. Trust me - repeated listens to this Duppy Will level up your ears too. It’s hard to truly appreciate the flows when you’re stopping the flow of the bars so often. This. Is. worldclass. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The thing that makes Ghetts so great is his ability to effortlessly cover a variety of flows and styles. I kind of feel you need to see him on a more spiritual/conscious song to truly appreciate his greatness and evolution. “Jess Song” is def a worthy reaction contender 👌🏾

The thing with Ghetts is that he doesn’t care who likes him coz he knows he’s a lyrical genius who is always down to experiment. Let’s not forget he’s been in the game 20+ years and has stayed relevant lol. I can see why you don’t like this though… it’s very UK grimey. As of recently (since being signed) Ghetts has made his songs waaaay more digestible and appealing to a wider audience. Appreciate your reactions though, you’re of the few who keep it 100.
