They count on the people with no attention span (the "bruh" crowd) to allow them to get their way. That's been the way for most obnoxious, loudest (screaming!) people I've known my entire life. You lose your patience and empathy for these people after a while. Especially after they stab you in the back.

Those are people who never had any convictions or values aligned with your own, were always in agreement with the other side, and were just riding what they saw as a wave for a quick buck. I can't believe i could write a better "Nightwings" if i could put the energie in it. For exemple, in my Marvel X DC cross-verse, my Dick Grayson become the "Original Batman" because Bruce Wayne borrow the Venom Symbiot becoming "The Symbiot Knight" and going to a mission to track Joker in space because he borrow Carnage symbiot and founding the Chaos Space Sect so he could made a mess in the universe. Dick Grayson would stay on earth has "original Batman" and i would put Tim Drake has the next Nightwings.

I miss when Nightwing was a hard ass in the Titans books, and his friends were worried that he was going to go full paranoid dictator mode like Batman. He was a dangerous individual with hard edges. Does anyone remember that? Like he was the boss of them. They didn't just listen because he was nice and friendly. I can't picture this Nightwing doing that.

This is why the Absolute Universe doesn't matter. The DC writers and editors simply don't get it, or don't care, they will continue producing content that the vast majority of readers have no interest in reading. The best thing that could happen would be for the IP's to be farmed out to Skybound or McFarlane to get the characters away from these moronic "creators" at DC.
