This is why we need Red Dead Online's map/radar/blip system. That alone would alleviate so many of the issues.

@@plebulus Nobody shows up on the map/radar unless you are close enough, or are firing weapon and are close enough. The higher your hostility level, the further away you can be seen. The lower, the closer they have to get it. Additionally, when you run a PvEvP mission, it only tells people when you are close to the drop off, and only those who are in the vicinity. These two features changed Red Dead Online from a western GTAO, to something a lot more peaceful.

The sparrow is a great counter to the yacht/sub strat, it doesn’t get targeted by the yacht defenses and it’s still able to lock on to the sub and shoot rockets w/o them being destroyed by the defenses.

This reminds of something similar happening some time back. A bunch of randoms were just goofing around punching each other around the Garment Factory. I headed down there with the intention of trolling initially but decided against that and just join in on the fun instead. And it was easily the most fun I had in GTAO in years. Just a bunch of guys clowning on mics and punching the crap out of each other. Nobody being super sweaty about score or dealing with anything grinding related. Just everyone having fun. But of course sweaty ass tryhard comes in on a MkII ruins the fun and starts killing us. The guys started up an invite only lobby as well as adding people and I told I'd join after I fold that sweaty boi. And I clapped him (and his friend who'd join in sometime after) so bad that he booted me out the session. I joined the guys after and told them and we laughed about something getting that mad over a video game and meaningless numbers.
