Glad you enjoyed the video :) as for the voice - the actress and the singer are two people - actress is Deepika Padukone, while singing is Shreya Ghoshal. In Bollywood there are playback singers used traditionally, while actors dance and act :) and those singers are stars on their own, loved by millions. Imo, it's much better than enduring mediocre singing from some of the western actors, especially when it's not a secret and all the performers are given credit :)

Daria Zhuleva ohhh yes, I agree! A lot of times here they choose singers based on looks and then the singing is sub par. I think the way it is done there makes it much better for overall perfection! This is probably one big reason I have come to enjoy this so much more than what we have here. I’ve become a big fan of it almost overnight since I was introduced recently!

Hello Amanda...your reaction was on point as always!!! Just for some details about the song... the costume of the actress/dancer was of 30 kgs as the embroideries were made up of pure golden thread (thats why they would shine into the light when she was twirling) and also her jewelleries were of 20 kgs as they were of pure gold, silver, rubies, emeralds, diamonds and other precious stones...meaning a total of 50 kgs on her body !!! (They tried to recreate costumes and jewellery pieces belonging to the 13th centure and dressed her just like a former Hindu Rajput queen would dress herself at that era). Also the king's jewellery were real too. I wish that if you could react to Mohe Rang Do Laal from the movie Bajirao Mastani. I hope you will take my comment into consideration.

He died in the battle and lost it But Our Brave queen She did not Surrender. She and 50,000 women of the fort of Chittor decided to Do Jauhar which is a Practice of suicide By jumping in a Fire Well. In India and Especially in Rajputs Women are Protected and Considered as Symbol of pride . These Woman and the queen Showed great courage and decided to fall in the fire well instead of getting in the hands of the Cruel Ruler Allaudin and his lusty wishes.... For them their pride and valor was more important than their very own lives... This is the story of Padmavat ... Ok... I love the way you reacted.... Well speaking of the movie it is based on a 800AD poem.... Called padmavati..... The one who dances is the queen padmavati {Deepika Padukone} who is married to the king of Chittorgarh, the guy who stands on the balcony above Rana Ratan Singh {Shahid Kapoor} and this dance is a kind of feastival called Ghumar which just happens a day after they get married... I'm sure you would love this movie..... Must watch it.... The direction is done by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the song sung by Shreya Ghoshal.....

Ghoomar is an Indian rajasthani royal folk song, This song symbolizes innocence and life of Rajasthani Girls. The girl is young and she is growing up and she explains her little demands to her mother, queen. She tells that her life is very simple, she is very beautiful and pretty that she can bewitch anyone. She yet asks for very simple things. At the start she asks that she wants to play, and asks for sweets. While playing she finds Kajal-Tiki(Make-up) and starts thinking about her suitable match. She asks for Kaajal-Tiki (Make-up), tells how much she adores Rathores. Now She has grown enough that her parents might be looking for suitable match for her. So she tells them that she doesn't wants to marry outside of Rajputana(Rajasthan). Because that would mean that she would see her family less often. Then the girl tell her heart's desire for her match. She tells her mother that she wants to be married in the Rathore House. Because Rathores have lovely boli(dialect, 'Marwari').
