Here is what bothers me so much about that ending....Sister is right there and Saltarian is threatening her baby boy with replacement. She had Copia's three half brothers murdered to clear the line for C. I don't see her letting him be replaced without a fight within the Clergy.

Sesstor has been manipulating things behind to scenes for TOO long to allow anyone to replace or kill her Little C. It would become all out war. I only became a Ghost fan a couple of months ago and thus all the lore and history of the band and Papas was a LOT to take in at once... A part of me is so jealous of people who have been fans for a longer time and been able to see different eras of Ghost, but at the same time I am HEARTBROKEN about the mere thought of Cardi/Papa IV being killed off or changed that I don't know how anyone has been able to go through it several times 😭😭😭 But Tobias is a genius, and these chapters are so bloody delightful. I'm basically in tears of laughter every time I watch through these and I hope he never stops being this wonderful genius goofball I've learned to know he is.

In episode 11 Nihil said that Copia needs to do 150 concerts and that he had only done 26. There have been about 70 Imperatour shows so far. He should have about 80 more before he's offed. However, this is Ghost and who ever knows what Tobias may be up to....

As I drifted off to sleep last night, the usual thoughts of "Conversations of Yore” were happily replaced with an approximately three minute commercial, showcasing how I would see Ghost announce their next album: Sister Imperator, Papa IV, Mr. Saltarian and Nihil are half-heartedly and mindlessly discussing the weather. Suddenly, a virile young man with an air of arrogance bursts into the room, announcing himself as ‘Newboy’ and claiming boisterously that he is the ONLY illegitimate son of the Holy Papa blood line, and he will fulfill his destiny; to claim the coveted position of front man for the band, and willfully spread “the word” of The Clergy. Cardi C (unimpressed) says, "Ok, that’s great and all, but have you seen how I have made us popular? They love my music, and they love me!" With gritted teeth, a fist fight ensues, and after some struggling, Newboy unsheathes a hidden blade and quickly thrusts it through Copia's gut, violently sealing his fate. A very quick scene of only a few seconds depicts the funeral of Papa the Forth. Fade in to panning over the crowd of a late-night talk show, with a message on the screen, “Three days later…”. A famous talk show host introduces "…the new and improved, Ghost!". Pan to the stage where Newboy is now fronting the group, wearing poorly applied skull-like makeup, and an uneven costume, clearly not to size. His visage is somehow slightly amateur, as if rushed, compared to the tight, professional look of the rest of the band. Newboy’s eyes are unabashedly thrilled with the applause and the spotlight. He places a water bottle down on a nearby stool and then, ignoring the band, gleefully steps up to the mic stand in front of him. "Thank you so much for that warm introduction and thank you all for being here tonight! This is truly a..." Meanwhile, in a nearby dark corridor, you hear Newboy’s amplified words echoing vaguely down the hall behind the sound-stage, as the camera is looking through the mud-crusted eyes of a dark figure, shuffling slowly towards the noise, and giving off involuntary tired, raspy moans. Back on the brightly lit stage, Newboy utters endlessly with an impatient, and visibly unimpressed band behind him; "... why I’m just thrilled to be here, I can't even begin to tell you! This has been MY dream, for years, to get to this..." Suddenly in a blur, microphone feedback prematurely cuts him off as the dark figure bursts through the back curtains. He quickly grabs Newboy by the collar with an ungodly strength. Effortlessly, Newboy is lifted and then forcibly dropped behind the side curtains of the stage. You can only see his wildly flopping legs, the wet noises of his attack almost being drowned out by the shock and panic of the crowd. The Ghouls only now react as the leg movements go dead; silently taking an involuntary step back from their instruments, and the gruesome scene in front of them. The crowd is fearfully hushed, while the dark figure slowly steps out to stand with his back to the audience. With a calm stillness, the man takes a moment to look over the various Ghouls silently. The people (now huddled together near the closed studio doors in the back of the studio) all suddenly gasp as the dark figure quickly turns around to stare them down. They can now clearly see a dirty, rough looking Cardinal Copia, blood dripping from his chin. He is wearing a mud soaked burial robe that has been recently ripped in a few places, his hands dark with dirt. Taking a single quick step forward, he forces another fearful gasp from the crowd, and then slowly extends his tattered arm towards the microphone. Pulling it close, they hear in an amplified raspy voice, "Iiiiiiii"… He stops; a slight ring of feedback fades off to silence as he swallows painfully. A tension hangs in the air, everyone fixated on him with bated breath. Copia suddenly turns his attention to Newboy's water, still resting on the stool beside the mic stand. He grabs it forcefully, popping the cap off by squeezing the bottle tightly, then chaotically pours it up over his dirty face, drinking some of it like a wild animal as it falls. Emptying the bottle, he carelessly throws it away, then slowly turns back to the mic to speak again, clearer this time, in a tired but determined expression; "I. Wasn't. Done. Making……Music. For you." Seconds pass in silence, as recognition washes over the room. Slowly, everyone understands what this means (He’s back!!) and with relief they crescendo into adrenaline fueled applause, cheering and shouting their enthusiastic approval of his return. The camera pans out from the stage as everyone hesitantly moves to approach him, while slowly, words form on the bottom of the screen: " A new beginning, a new album. Arriving 202x".

It would make sense to bring Nihil back and giving him a proper record and tour cycle. Especially since I have a feeling that secretly this is all a ritual to bring him back in his prime. Cause to me not only is Nihil more tangible but also looks slightly younger.

It’s not, it’s just hilarious. And Ghost is mostly just music, yes they’re a satanic band but satanists don’t really worship satan, they mostly just have fun and joke around a lot. I have a few satanist friends, they don’t really believe in the existence of satan, it’s more of just wanting their own freedom of choice. A lot of pagans (satanists included) really just want freedom from the cult-like ways of the mainstream churches. We don’t really use our religion as an excuse to stay away from Adonai (the Christian god’s name) considering many pagans follow different gods, but we still acknowledge the existence of the Christian god, we just don’t worship him (some pagans do, some don’t) I hope this clears stuff up a bit, and blessed be.❤
