My theory is this (it might sound kinda stupid though): Scott’s family experienced (and even him) the bites of the animatronics and could’ve been one, and when Chucky E. Cheese was made, Scott decided to make the fnaf game and use the Chucky E. Cheese as an “inspiration” but in reality he and his past family experienced it (on what I believe) and when Bonnie kept giving him nightmares was probably because Scott was afraid of Bonnie as a young child, and when he developed fnaf 1 he was being reminded of Bonnie and that’s why he kept getting nightmares. This is just my theory, so it’s not really true or anything, but it’s on what I believe
