A lot of people don't think Ghost is Heavy Metal. Those people think it has to sound like Slayer or other Death Metal to be considered Heavy Metal. You said it yourself, the Sabbath influence is apparent.

Not a huge Ghost fan myself but "Rats" is undeniably, ridiculously catchy. My non-Ghost recommendation is "Weightless", a new one from Evergrey. I was surprised by how much I liked it, haven't really listened to them since the 2000s but they're still kicking ass.

One of the most unique things about Ghost is that they've created a cohesive universe of lore. It's definitely worth looking into, and much of it is in the form of little short videos uploaded to their KZbin channel. It's cool that they've done that, and many of the videos have that same sort of humor (for example, in one of them there's 4 guys playing cards in a smoke filled room, very mafia-esque, but instead of poker they're playing Uno). Also, Rats and Square Hammer are both really great, too.

Ghost won the Grammy for "Best Metal Performance" for "Cirice" in 2016. They are nominated this year for "Best Rock Song" for the song "Rats" as well as "Best Rock Album" for the album "Prequelle". You really need to at least react to "Rats" before the Grammys on Feb. 10.

Bro. You need to listen to some more ghost. Alsorememebr. They are not satanic. Even though their songs seem very satanic. I guess you could say they mock religion and use a lot of occultic references. I love this band and it would be awesome if you listened to some more of their stuff. Keep it up man.

@@XanosKnyghtshade but it's not. You do know what occult means right? Astrology is an occultic subject. It's simply not science or religion but everyone always gets freaked out when they hear that word due to it sounding like Cult. And anyone can mock religion and not be a satanist. I study occultic references because I find it interesting and I'm not found of religion. Thay doesnt make me a satanist. You need to broaden your horizons man. Not everything is black and white.

@@RosstaFloss I'm assuming pausing the video a few times doesn't help? Isn't that what you did previously? Maybe do the "no audio follow along" method? I don't think anyone has gotten striked for watching Starlight yet though. Or Distortion. Oh yes I forgot you should also do Distortion as well. Starlight and Distortion came out last year and are really different from anything else they've ever done. One more thing, are you aware that Yuimetal left the band? I or someone else may have told you or you already knew (bad memory lmao) but she did leave.
