I feel your presence amongst us You cannot hide in the darkness Can you hear the rumble? Can you hear the rumble that's calling? I know your soul is not tainted Even though you've been told so Can you hear the rumble? Can you? I can hear the rumble that's calling? I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart I can see through the scars inside you I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart I can see through the scars inside you A candle casting a faint glow You and I see eye to eye Can you hear the thunder? Can you hear the thunder that's breaking? Now there is nothing between us From now our merge is eternal Can't you see that you're lost? Can't you see that you're lost without me? I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart I can see through the scars inside you I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart I can see through the scars inside you Can't you see that you're lost without me? I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart I can see through the scars inside you I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart I can see through the scars inside you oh oh oh oh I can see through the scars inside you I can feel the thunder that's breaking in your heart I can see through the scars inside you

@@toxiccan175 I feel like the bible never says you can't listen just that you can't agree It's very mature to be able to hear someone out you can disagree for all eternity but you shouldnt just not listen
@toxiccan175
@toxiccan175 3 жыл бұрын
@@evanfischer147 I think part of a person’s sincerity comes from their actions and how they confront their desires. Denying the influence of an artist’s personal, political, and religious views on their work would be both naive and ignorant. If a person is to be sincere in their belief, they should not continually listen to the influence of others completely opposite of their own beliefs. You wouldn’t listen to the Devil reciting his own poetry, so why listen to one of his devout followers?
@evanfischer147
@evanfischer147 3 жыл бұрын
@@toxiccan175 Whilst I see what you're saying and can agree that's a fair point. If the devil actually was just around and reciting poetry he made I would 100% go listen. But I'm not Christian so that doesn't bother me. I'm not a satanist but I do have satanism paraphernalia, I think the concept is cool.

Ok, I love instrumentals simply cause too many times, including this song, the vocals/lyrics don't match the instruments or just don't sound good. This song is beautiful, and I could just listen to the opening riff over and over again

Timothy Dean I know! I feel like most of their songs are beautifully written but then uncreative lyrics and light vocals ruin them

@@isaacrobertson4374 which is crazy because its all the same guy I completely agree that tobias's lyrics and voice just do not fit but tbh he might just not be able to help it that might just be that voice he has so he does the best he can with what he was given that said this song is a million times better without the vocals I might see about trying to write some similar lyrics or even just try to do a cover and give deeper vocals
@u731
@u731 2 жыл бұрын
@@isaacrobertson4374"uncreative lyrics" some of their songs have crazy good lyrics with somewhat deep meaning. Just like real poetry, it can be interpreted in multiple ways, but the original is always damn interesting. My best example is Square Hammer, which has my second favorite vocals where it asks if you would swear allegiance to the devil. People swear allegiance to Jesus/god and still break rules. Jesus pardons their sins because of his good nature, but satan does not pardon. Would you swear the same way you swear to jesus, but to satan? That was a good example of creative lyrics, now for good vocals we have a damn good example in here, Cirice. Just listen to his last "I can see through the scars inside you" and feel how powerful it sounds. If your dumb brain can't comprehend, live acoustic versions of cirice make it much easier to hear how good Tobias is a singing.
