Thank you for watching. Yes, we had to be very careful when working with ghost nets. There's a portion in the video where the diver had to cut off strands of net that got entangled in her hand.

Very nice! Terrific buoyancy control and trim! Very skilled young lady! What depth was all that done at? Deco dive? Steel 100 tank or larger?

Hi, thank you for watching and for your comments. We saw and worked on removing the Ghost Nets at 36 feet (11m) while ascending from a deep dive at 105 feet (32m). Yes, it was a deco dive and you can see from the computer (in metric), we had around 2 min remaining deco at 10 feet (3m) which we completed. Our tanks were 80cf AL. Gas mix was Nx28. It took around 20 minutes to remove the ghost net. The net would have damaged the corals and killed marine life (eg turtles) caught on it.
