This song is INTENSE live, it’s one of my partners favorite. His crowd interaction & stage presence is incredible, almost intoxicating when you’re there in person. LOVE ghost!

At 12:05 you nailed it. Tobias (Vocalist) does exactly what you said you'd hope haha. Also, the leading melody in the part you're mentioning is tapped on guitar! Pretty neat riff.

I saw them on august 4th for the first time in the pit i have been to many many shows, but this was one of the best ive ever seen. From the presentation, to how the band sounded, the crowd interaction it was flawless. Cannot recommend them enough i felt the bass in my chest when this song started.

Tobias actually wrote the whole song on bass. He can write on guitar or piano too. It's not that he always comes up with cool riffs there just as well could be a piano part that he comes up with. Musical genious.

@@dominiktatai5398He can... There are videos of him mucking around on guitar. He used to play guitar in previous bands. He records demos of these songs on guitar, bass, keys, and then presents them to the musicians who will play them. He has often actually played bass on recordings.

I was hoping this one would be next, mainly for the bassline. 🙂Good point about the riffs woven together; Tobias is very good at using riffs that are distinct but very cohesive within a song. He also coordinates lead and rhythm parts well. Per Aspera Ad Inferi is (or has been) probably my favorite Ghost song to play for all of that reasoning. It's a little hard to explain, but the way it feels like the main riff just moves around the neck with some other variation is really clever and fun.

Great song. I hope Cirice and Ritual on your list. I really think you'll dig them. Ritual sounds particularly like it was inspired by Mercyful Fate. I hope you put out a video with your thoughts on the show after you've experienced it. I'm living vicariously through you since my last Ghost concert was a few weeks ago.

Doubt you'll have to worry about copyright strikes when dealing with Ghost tunes. Ghost actually LIKES the attention, unlike the old fuddie-duddies who are only collecting royalties on their old stuff. Those who complain to youtube are really only shooting themselves in the foot. Tobias knows any attention is better than none.
