It's not just the costume change, it's his new character. It's this whole song and dance thing I hate. He use to be evil. Use to be scary and now he's this cuddly song and dance man from the 1920s playing 70s pop music. Won't be long before he loses the mask completely and sports a tux. The Ghost that I loved no longer exists. Too bad there were good.

@@dwaynerosemeyer6463 Forge has said in an interview that he wants a new pope in the future. But he didn't want Ghost to get repetitive, which is why they brought in a cardinal. I honestly love what they're doing but I respect your opinion. They didn't lose their older energy at all though. I saw them live and however, yes, they do have some pop songs now, they still play their older stuff, such as "Con Clavi Con Dio", "Per Aspera Ad Inferi", "Satan Prayer",... It still looks just as satanic as before. Also, Papa Emeritus III wasn't as scary/evil as the other two either.
