Hey Dan, what a great discovery, it will make yet another useful space to work/play. I just love the way the ivy is hugging the building, its like a fairy house, quite magical really. Its great to have so many things to keep you busy, you seem to be at your happiest when you are working on a project. You have enough good rocks to rebuild the little rooms. Wow the size of that Ivy, I wonder if you could give a couple of the big pieces to a wood turner and have it made into a bowl, a vase or something. It would be unique. Great idea to make the workshop, easy access and a wonderful environment to work in. Love It!

You did a massive job on the collapsed house. Question .... couldn't you take all the brambles you have piled on the ground and put them on top of the brambles you need to clear out four the future parking/staging area and burn it all? You've got to the end of May to do stuff like that before the no burn season starts. And the cement structure you have found, you could use that as a dipping pool/area during the summer like another channel has and when you start to use it as a root cellar, just drain it out, lol. Great idea with the workshop! Maybe build on it's first/now empty spot a kind of veranda, where you can sit and eat/drink. With an open roof, maybe some shadenetting above it. You've made real progress! 👏🥳🎉

Dan just rewatched again this episode. Todo with the land and the buildings . I am amazed on you understanding the boundaries are , i know you have marked in red in some areas. But when you have achieved taking down and rebuilding the plot have you thought of going to the regional library or council to find the old pictures of what was the dwellings before. If you decide to have people stay on your land, it would be nice to have the history to show people. And listening to you talk about the task in hand you can see your mind is already designing and planning what you are going to do. And i understand you will have to prepare and design and build before the weather starts to get hotter. Last year you and sindy could only work at certain times of the summer due to the heat and would have to go inside To cool down. I wished at thst time you both had had an out door pool. But sindy loved to go in the secret river do you remeber this and will you go back again and take the doghies to cool down.

Hi Dan, great project, lovely dry stone wall buildings it will be a great for your workshop, you are a fast worker two and a half days work amazing it’s coming on great, are the other buildings behind yours too? the one with one floor and a roof is that yours? What a great project, Dan. Having your workshop there makes good use of an otherwise useless piece of property. I think that the old workshop site would have always been problematic with the constantly damp floor from the underground water seeping out. Are you going to break this rather big job into a series of smaller steps so that you get a lot of feelings of satisfaction as each step is completed?
