I think the thing with Tobias' vocals is that he never wanted to be the front man of the band, he just wanted to take a back seat and play guitar. You can definitely hear that he's taken this time, during covid, to work more on and improve his vocals with maybe a vocal coach. I can understand what you mean about them being a bit one dimensional, but that's what I adore about them that you can instantly tell that this song playing is Ghost. Plus they really do put on an insane live show, which fans call a 'Ritual'. To be fair: Myers has been shot like a billion times, set on fire and still survived. There’s not much a town can do to kill him. As for the song: My favorite bit has to be that vocal fading effect that was used near the end of the song. And I’m a huge fan of Ghost mainly because I love their gimmick so to speak and the music is good as well, in my opinion.

The Halloween sequels “kills” and “ends” were announced all the way back in 2019. But to your point when Infinity war came out and half the people got dusted I knew they would be back because they had already announced the next spider-man No way home film but yet I still cried like a baby in Peters dusting scene and cheered my heart out when he returned in ENDGAME.. in the end it’s all about story and execution..

@@Echis21 Funny you talked about Spider-man Infinity War cause Tom Holland surprised fans to a premiere and he came out screaming "I'm still alive!" kinda spoilered everything! The problems with horror in general is that you already know kinda that no one will survived or at least that the killer/sociopath/monster won't be killed, which is something you deep down know, but nothing is for sure, just blood...

Maybe do a deep dive into Ghost, and listen to some of the songs that arent made to be especially listenable and accessible, nothing wrong with those but Ghost does many different genres and moods on their different albums, I recommend Zenith or Ghuleh/Zombie Queen.

I'm with Johnny about knowing there's another Halloween movie coming before I've even seen this one. Sure, I know at this point that Michael Myers could probably survive a nuclear explosion, but when I'm watching the movies I like to at least pretend that maybe this time he'll die. Plus, the dude is like 60 now... does he not get rusty joints with age like the rest of us? Seriously HOW is he still capable of throwing everyone around like a ragdoll?!

I disagree about the movie thing because knowing there is another one after this doesn't matter because all three movies are one complete story. I think of it as one long movie split in three parts (they all take place on the same Halloween night and tell the same story of Laurie and Michael having one last showdown) we've known this is how it was gonna be structured since before the first one. This is just the second part of the overall story. Now if they were all completely separate movies set in different times then yeah i'd totally agree with you but since they aren't, I disagree haha

Amanda Demme , famous photographer, creative director, very well known for creating space with light and shadow and cultivating a mood. (Wikipedia) She flew to Sweden a few months ago to make this video. Tobias Forge was asked by a producer of the film after seeing ghost at the forum LA to do a song for this movie. I heard a radio interview that this meant a lot to him to do and he wanted to do it right especially since Halloween ll was his first horror film he ever saw as a child and one of his favorites 🤓🤪🤷‍♀️ ❤️‍🔥🌚🌙🖤🎃🔪🩸👻😈

The beauty of music is we can all have our own opinions, but I just can’t get with Ghost. I can’t really explain why, it’s just very “meh” for me. They seem like cool guys and live it’s quite an experience, but from a listenability standpoint, just not for me.
