This young woman is so informative, glad Josh keep it all in. I never knew of some of the procedures those patients suffered through during that time. Josh should definitely keep his videos this informative and this long. I truly enjoyed it.

I love love LOVE the longer walkthroughs with the guides. The investigation part is cool but having that extra background about the place makes it all the better! I also wonder if sometimes spirits use the devices to talk back and forth with each other. It felt like there was a good spirit (or maybe two) trying to tell the story of what happened to them and also to warn the crew about a dangerous spirit nearby. The moment where one device said 'killed us' followed immediately by 'I can hear you' makes me think one of the good spirits was trying to tell the truth about something and the dangerous spirit was threatening it, basically telling it to shut up or something bad would happen. Just a thought!

The background of experiments done at asylums continues to prove to me that humans are awful disgusting creatures, specially anything prior to now. Even now humans do experiments on unwilling participants. Learning about it makes me so angry and sad for the ones who’ve suffered the torture. The ghost stuff is awesome but the true stories behind it are just so heartbreaking.

Hey Josh, hope you read this and I'll try to make it brief. My dad a retired military man with a type A personality, saw a ghost "Clear as day" prior to his military days. A ghost man walked into his bedroom as he was laying in bed at night as a child & it approached to choke him. He screamed and my grandfather ran in, hit the light & the ghost "evaporized" into the next room. He also had a hat on, but from what I recall it was a top hat, but now uncertain. I've commented this on Colin's but never put two and two together. Sorry for the lengthy comment, but I thought it was relative to what you are investigating! ETA: my father is 76 yrs old

I have been too! It was at my friends grandmas house. She left the bedroom door open at night and it was a hallway , so I woke up seen him standing by the door way and just sat there. Almost cried and eventually fell back asleep! My first and last time experiencing something like that
@rileycoyote8275Ай бұрын
I've seen him, too. Very tall, 6.5-7ft tall. Long coat that hits his calves, fedora type hat, and cold, black eyes. When we were living in Sterling Heights, Michigan. It was always upstairs, always in front of this linen closet near the hallway bathroom, and always after midnight. He'd just stand there, watching and staring, it was honestly terrifying. I'd ignore him and just go about my business. Everytime he was around, (many times in the two years we lived there) my cats would act insane, clawing at the closet and jumping 8 feet in the air, clawing and kicking, and my dogs would refuse to go upstairs and would gingerly examine the closet in the morning. My husband has an absolute phobia about ghosts, and I can see them so easily, so I didn't tell him about the man until after we'd been out of the house for a few weeks. When I finally told him about the ghost that we'd lived with for two years, he went silent for a good hour. It's a good thing I never told him about the countless shadow people and outright demons that ran around that neighborhood all night, almost every night lol. I can honestly say that out of all of the ghosts I've seen in my lifetime, the man in the hat was one of the truly scary ones I've ever encountered., and most don't phase me, but him. Eesh. That inscrutable staring made my blood run cold.

WHAT THE HECK. As a child / teen I had sleep paralysis episodes and during one episode I had a dark shadowy figure enter my room. It started at the corner of the room and walked towards me and hovered over my face as I was frozen. I had a very hard time breathing, like it was pushing down on my chest. I just remember the red eyes. I figured it was just a random bad dream during sleep paralysis, but this was the only time I’ve ever been that spooked during an episode. Other times I was able to discern that I was having an episode and was able to force myself out of it by focusing on wiggling my toes and fingers but this one episode felt so real and I could not ‘wiggle’ out of. I had to try to flail my arms and legs and actually ended up kicking my dog right off the bed into the wall.

We visited/explored that place many times. It was really huge. Wayne County hospital was right next to it. Sometimes the hospital would send people there for medical testing, vaccines etc. There are people buried on the grounds. Cemetery across the street has people buried there from the hospital. The tunnels were actually the scary part. All the buildings were connected through the tunnels. It has a basement and a sub basement. As a young child, just driving past there was scary. Because of the stories. You could usually see residents walking around the grounds. Always felt sad for them. There WAS LOTS of scary stories about what happened in the buildings. They did a lot of experiments, lobotomies were common, and basically torture on a lot of patients.
