Routes is an addon I used for this. It lets you draw a line around the world which you can follow for a route. Farmhud is also useful for putting the detection radar in the middle of your screen, combined with routes it makes a very effective farming setup.

I’m not sure if it is mentioned in any of the comments but it might be useful to also have the ancient panderan mining pick in your bags while you do this so you can get gems from the mining nodes which you can pick up in the jade garden.

Just remember, it takes 2 ore to make one bar. So if you find that the ore is just over half the price or more, sell the ore. You’ll actually make a net profit. Set up TSM for professions and it will tell you which will yield more profits. Happy good making!

farming the mobs in timeless isle is a good idea for forger gloves because you can kill them fast takes me 10-30 mins to get it its the guys on the upper level on timeless isle not where ordos is just below that look for the charger fire dudes and the guys in runins and just keep killing

+Ferad Speculates Both of them showed as 1% droprate & remembered how many of the mobs I killed back in MOP without a drop so I went for the rare - but since a few peeps got the gloves farming I guess I was just unlucky

yea when i was in timeless isle i didn't get it either but the thing was is we we're killing tons of mobs in seconds we we're just doing our thing we're even looking for it and even if you we're looking for it you still wont go as fast as you would in legion now so its easy just try it on another guy farm the guys on the upper level where that rare spawns who drops a mount and kill literally everything above that and it will drop quick.

Also the Isle where you farm for the dragon eggs is superior as farming spot for ore if I remember correctly... (Was almost 3 years ago since I did that)

Tbh Breath of Wind is used for lower lv crafting where as the Volatiles are used alot more, so it depends server to server

In the twightlight zone right outside the port there is an amazing farm spot for volatile water, you can farm around 100-200 of it per hour and make a profit (on my server) of 10-12k gold :O

Yeah, that's the spot I used. Volatile air from the dungeon & also you convert Volatile Life daily with alchemy transmute

This looks so useful, however Gatherer just won't work for me :( HUD is broken, it will mark them on mini map but the HUD just won't work. What to do =[ Tried gathermate2 and gathermate 2 data but the data is broken also on that so you cannot import it to the addon ergh!!

Depends on the server, it tends to increase during peak expansion times like flying patches and launches

Gathermate2 & Routes ... You don't need anything else as an addon. It shows all nodes & you have a direct route to follow.

@@tussano15 Gathermate2 needs import what you can check from its settings. Also, you might have it already ok but you haven't check if nodes are visible in a big map or small map. So you tell people to get these gloves... yet they are probably gonna do this farm 1-3 times overall... and by the time they finally get these gloves they would have farmed enough from this spot regardless.. nice way to lengthen the video i guess tho.

The time it takes to smelt ore into bars then into trillium isn't worth it. I could just take that time and farm more ore. the profit margin would have to be pretty good to spend 10 minutes smelting a few stacks of ore. Plus Ore has a higher demand i think due to JCers prospecting it for gems for a few things like the jewel mounts and a couple pets. It's one of those traps where it's profitable, but not as profitable as something else. Like making netherweave bags.

Forager gloves reduce the cast time from 3.1 to 1.8. so its like 1.3 seconds not 2 seconds. At least thats what my cast bar shows.

Unfortunately there are plenty of realms where this stuff just won't sell, where the only gold you'll get is by vendoring it.

Definitely use it for crafting in that case, or put it in a bank somewhere. I never vendor anything that can be used for crafting

I’ve been on many servers, high pop and low, and I’ve never seen ghost iron be useful vendored. You just have to find the flip that works. Ghost iron to jewels to panther mount, ghost iron to lighting steel to smog weapons from ToT. There are tons of ways to maximize this on any server you’re on. Look for the positive bud.

I'm either dumb as f*** or you are trolling me, I've rewatched 3 times, 1 with subs!, till half point since u mentioned it is in the start of the vid and u mention 2 times something about ghost iron "...managed to farm thousands of ghost iron doing so..."; "...which every hour could result in 5 to 10min of your farming time just because your going to be farming hundreds of nodes every single hour..." I might be blind/deaf i dont know... hundreds... cool. If i reverse engineer the 5/10min with 2 sec u get anywhere from 150 to 300 nodes and this is the closest i can come to a number. Can u provide a time stamp to the part of the vid u state the amount of ore per hour or can u leave a number here pls?
