Just to add, if you keep running out of sump fur, stick a barn up and trap the dire alpha wolfs in nagrand. Create work orders back at your barn to get you some fur. Easy as that

The garrison and followers was one of the best things they added to the game that's why we still have followers in legion. Only people who didnt have many alts hated it because they were missing out on gold that's their lost and opinion that the garrison was bad for wow economy, me I made tons of gold during wod and I'm still pulling in 45k + every month from garrison best thing they ever did for us hands down

I do my garrison missions/hubs daily (if not twice) then check the AH on my main tailor to list items. When the price is high, I sell as much as people are willing to buy, if its low I might not list anything or only a few to ensure I don't overstock.

This video is full of shite. The amount of cloth you get is based off your personal skill level. So my tailor at 700+ tailoring makes 20 a day, while work orders yeah give like 4 per order. You'll be lucky to get a single bag maybe every 2-3 days, and keep in mind you also need sorcerous earth which if you buy off the AH will cost you a good few hundred gold. On my server the bags sell for 1700 and just the sorcerous earth costs 600g. (There's no other simple way to get them, it's all RNG and more work orders).

Hey man got any tips for an old player that just came back on how to get a lot of hexweave cloth? I stopped after cata and don't know about any of this new stuff and a lot to take in all at once and a point in the right direction would be helpful. As for a tip that i have been using to make gold is buying epic armors and disenchanting them into chaos crystals to then sell back on the ah. i750 and above net you chaos crystals from my experience (and of course while doing this they just gave me 2 leyshards making me cry since it is the first time that happened). and the low end items go for about 500-700 on my server while the crystals sell for about 800-1000.

+Almerish Nice work! Hexweave is from tailoring daily CD & Tailoring hut in garrison. Its from the WoD questline and takes a good 1-2hrs to unlock, then you need to upgrade it. I highly recommend you watch my "Garrison Gold Cap Guide", its outdated but I point out how it works and what you do. Tbh farming legion mats would be quicker than the garrison as most of us have them already, and you're starting from scratch.

I get most of mine from the Navel Yard missions. Alchemy transmutes also work! as well as buying the cheap ones on the AH. Don't exchange via Primal Spirit, buy Savage Blood (its worth more)

With things being nerfed, you get nowhere near the cloth you used to, a 100 tailor helper does not double the cloth you get either. I may get 1 bag per week out of each guy. If it doesn't, I have 6 tailors and 3 level 100 followers. On all toons I got between 17-20 cloth on 5 work orders each and it never doubled. toon lvl follower lvl shop lvl wrk ords cmpl cloth 110 96 3 5 17 100 99 2 5 19 100 100 2 5 20 100 100 2 5 20 100 100 2 5 20 100 94 2 5 18 Like I said, I am not trolling, your video is implying that you can make a shitton of money doing this and it's just wrong. At max you'll make 2 MAYBE 3 bags a week per toon and it wont be long before you run out of earth (which I had 3k after transmuting and regular ones). Then you have to buy them and they are really expensive.

I prefer mass crafting Sky Golems on engineering alts. They currently go for 90k+ on my server. You'll have to do a few rounds of mining in Pandaria each month and have an Alchemy transmute master to make loads of Living Steel, but once you''ve got a good setup it's an easy 90k a month per engineering alt. Enough to pay for multiple WoW tokens and have gold to spare on whatever you want!

Ninja Kuma Ya I just went through and made 6 more Toons engineers. Since you have so much cloth, make one Secrets, One gearspring parts, and one Ultimate Gnomish Army Knife, then mass craft Goblin Gliders to 600 skill. Then go kill random mobs in panda land for about 10 min to get the Jaards recipe book, make a Jaards, repeat with alts. I was going to make most of my spare alts Eng+Alch, but daily Alch CDs aren't doing so well (Spirits are cheaper in bulk than GI bars), so after watching this video I think I'm going Eng+Tailoring with the Alch, Tailoring and Inscription Garr huts (for Catalysts, Hexweave, and Cards of Omen). Any suggestions on what to replace the tailoring hut with on my non-tailors?

Garrisons are part of the WoD storyline that starts in your major city. Not sure for alliance but try your notice board, and it will ask you to speak to your Leaders in the Blasted Lands and will take you through the Dark Portal. Its to fight the Iron Horde, so if it mentions them in the quest, you're on the right one.

So I went to my garrison to change what is planted and it wouldn't let me - all it would do is bring up his inventory. In order to choose what gets planted you HAVE to have a follower assigned to work there. I did so and the option now shows up.

Garrisons are from Warlords of Draenor, you get one as part of the questline (which you start at your Capital City that asks you to meet Kadgear & go through the Dark Portal to fight the Iron Horde). It's an exciting story, but it is the previous expansion so I'd recommend hitting 110 first, so you can PVP & do Dungeons/Raids and venture into older content after that. You'll make PLENTY of gold during the new expansion, and this method, while not complicated, will take alot of time out of your experience if you start from scratch. Most of us have garrisons on all our alts so it's a 10 minute job, but doing the initial quest line will take you well over an hour. I have a video on the Garrison in my WoW Playlist, called the WoW Garrison Gold Cap Guide, where I run through the garrison in detail, however there have been a few changes since then which you will see in my Garrison Update Video. I use the Navel Yard missions, they grant 20 per mission. You can transmute, use Primal Spirit to buy them (I recommend getting Savage Blood -> Check my Savage Blood Video) or Transmute it as mentioned. I occasionally pick them up for a few gold on the AH if I'm lazy

Yea my Rogue who is my main was Jewel Crafting and Engineering (engi was awesome for the AH Dalaran) from TBC till around a month before Cata launch, as i found out that Engineering would suck for cash making because my main income was making the best hunter bullets. So i decided to get tailoring as i knew it was good for money and the more cloth drops oh and the awesome unique cape enchants, think the cloth perk got took out for an expansion or 2 just can't remember which i do remember farming a shit load of cloth in Cata. It was in Deepholm on the Stone Trogg mobs that would all ways be in packs of 5+ and the route was just the right size as by the time i killed the last pack the 1st pack would respawn, so it was non stop killing with no time and man did i make a ton of money from all the trash greens and the odd blue dropping. And probs other shit that i can't remember but as the expansions kept coming out it was making it even more useless than it already was, as it was the cloak enchants that made it worth while but when i decided to see how much more extra cloth that the perk was giving and it was kinda a massive difference (i was tanking on my DH for the test). And i have thought about going Leather Working so many times as i could make gear for myself but probs got higher IL stuff equipped atm, because i'm sure that the unique leg enchants from Leather Working has been removed and it's only Enchanters that get that stuff. Which ofc makes sense but still on the fence of getting rid of Tailoring i know i could replace Jewel Crafting but that i will never get rid off as it's my 1st Profession i got to max and i have a ton of old-school recipe's which is awesome at gold making as i'v get a lot of twinks who use me and there personal Gem Cutter, right i just noticed how much i'v wrote and dayum that a lot of shit i really need to not use my keyboard while under the influence so i could unplug it and/or get my Nephew to stash it somewhere for me, so i *Salute* and *Gracefully Bow* and give a massive thanks in advance to who ever reads this and call an Ambulance just in case so your head doesn't explode from all the bollax chatted hehehe :P

I had some Hexweave cloth from months ago when I first made a video about stockpiling Hexweave Cloth for Legion. It was more efficient to store it in cloth than bags. I also went from 1 to 5 Tailors in Legion (regret not doing it sooner).

Why all the garrison hate? I loved it. It was like another character for me. Not for everyone I guess but I wish there could continue it in some form for those that want it. Like maybe allow a guild to use an expanded garrison as their HQ but only one or 2 guild members is in charge of maintaining it. Those player could get a title like ”groundskeeper" or "curator" .. I don't know what the guilds could use them for yet but I'm sure they could come up with something. Useful to implement.

how are u creating so many bags at once it takes me atleast a week to make just 1 bag, i dont have enough garrison resources to buy sumptuous fur so im forced to buy it from the AH, and i dont have a tailoring follower but i have 2 characters making hexweave cloth and it takes 7 days atleast for both to make just 1 bag

The follower doubles the cloth output of the Tailoring Building, and I recommend getting more Extreme Scavanger's to get more resources.

You can pick up a free one from Talador by completing the quest given by the Goblin next to the Arcane Bot. It's near the river in the centre of the zone. ok so ive been doing this on some alts and its definitely good gold. but i don get how u got 8 bags on an alt in 1 week. I have a follower in my tailor thing, i feed my alts sump fur from my barn on my main who is also doing it , work orders r always up. You're definitely on top of things if you're doing that. I get my fur via resources but w/e I may have had a few Work Orders prior to having my Bag Pattern so maybe that's why (Don't remember tbh) but that boosted my production

its called primal weaving to learn it you can buy it form a vendor in the garrison for 60 fur and the materials is 1 primal spirit + 10 fur = 2 hexweave no cd

this is very situational, server dependent and just very VERY large subject to change. it was the same in previous expansions were some items were just ridicolusly overpriced and sold like hotcakes, but in reality this still demands A GREAT amount of dedication and time to actually grind up a good amount of gold. YES it is easy YES it is faster then other methods but honestly not everyone is gonna go grind just to get gold when they still have leveling to do and just want to enjoy the game.
