Ghost is so much more than only the songs. There is a whole story for you to discover. It starts with chapter 1 and there is 14 chapters to date. This is Papa Nihil back in 1969. On the balcony Sister Imperator and she is pregnant with their son Cardinal Copia/Papa Emeritus lV. The current singer of Ghost.

In live shows, when Papa says the dad lines, he goes over to one of the nameless Ghouls unofficially nicknamed Fire/Sodo/Dewdrop/etc. and lays his head on his shoulder, hinting at daddy issues, pats said Ghoul's shoulder and leaves. It's VERY funny because then the Ghoul looks highly annoyed.🤣

It’s called Chapter 8 because they have a series on their KZbin about the start of Cardinal Copia, the current Papa. It gets you deeper into the lore of the band but has a lot of their music in those chapters, so careful to not get spoiled before other Ghost song reacts lol Also this chapter is about when Nihil was younger to the time Ghost first started with this and Mary on a Cross. Nihil announced the “rerelease” of his single that first came out about 50 years in the lore lol

I'd definitely recommend watching all the chapters on the Ghost KZbin channel, they're fkn hilarious. They can all be found in a playlist. :•]] As for this music video, it tells the fictional story of Papa Emeritus Zero, or Papa Nihil, & Sister Imperator, his former lover. Papa Nihil used to be Ghost's frontman when he was younger, ( again, in the fictional lore, ) and was with Sister Imperator, until that one night showed in the MV. Nihil was preforming, Imperator was watching. Everything seemed alright, until the end of the song, where Nihil ends up kissing some audience members, and Imperator storms off. The very beginning of the video showed an older Nihil & older Imperator discussing Cardinal Copia, now known as Papa Emeritus IV, and how Nihil didn't get why Imperator wanted Copia as frontman, " Why can't I have another chance? ", but Imperator shuts him down immediately, remembering _exactly_ why he can't have another chance, because of what happened last time - Nihil kissing other women in the audience. Really hope this was an alright explanation, apologies if not! :`•DD

My main workout song. As for TikTok's interpretation of Mary On A Cross, if you are taking lyrical analysis from infants... that's on you. Dude says tickle you internally which marijuana smoke can do and 12 year olds are like OMG IT'S SEX! But the song has other lyrics. Why do they only hear that one?

To be fair to them, it is part of the intended double meaning of the line, as demonstrated by the gesture Papa IV does on stage when singing it where he does a tickle motion with his extended finger.

There are chapters 1-14 now. They are all on you tube. Just little mini videos about thelore of Ghost. Pretty funny and helps put the theatrics into it! I recommend to watch them sometime for fun.

Osculum obscenum is like obscene or dirty kiss. In the good old days, when the witches congregate in the Black Sabbath, sometimes held on Wednesdays. They summon a demon, usually Leonardo. He presented himself with the head of a Ram with human body, naked and part of the ritual, each with had to kiss Leonardo in the butt-hole.
