Your musicality is so breathtaking! I've played classical music for over 12 years now, and I never appreciated pop music or anything like that when I was younger because I thought it was childish, naive and too easy play piano something like that (how ignorant a human can be...?) Well, Nightwish's music is definitely not pop music and you're the one who just opened my mind a couple years ago with your awesome (and high difficulty) covers and you inspired me to get the hell out of my comfort zone and play music that I actually love, not the kind of my parents and piano teacher once told me to play. Thank you for that! I live in Finland and I've to say that Tuomas would be so proud of you if he listened your playing :) I hope you keep on playing these covers, they're fantastic!

As Dean plays, i like to imagine that the actual notes played are completely subconscious, he has a nightwish stage performance perfectly in his mind and is channelling that instinctively through his fingers to the tool at hand. A pinacle of Mind - muscle coordination. As are all the very best musical performances. Yes there might be minor technical criticism, certainly the mic & recording method could be much improved, but that channelling feeling.. wow, bravo.

yanno what buddy as a keyboard player myself one thing I can tell about this version is that you played it with so much heart.. I just know that as you were hitting all those run and apeggios you got total goosebumos and an overwhelming sence of satisfaction and total glee and oare... this has to be one of nightwishes most complex tracks along with Storytime.... so if I can ever even think tomassice and a big round of applause respect dude =0)

This is not a cover but more an interpretation, and a great one at that. I love the "Bring me home or leave me be" part, it caught me totally off guard and the ending had some great creative runs. The total texture and intonation is far more varied then the original, call me an heretic but i think this is an improvement over tuomas's work. Excellent job man!
