You know what's cool? This is probably how Jin fights canonically. After getting defeated by Khotun the first time, he perfected his swordsman skills, learned all the new techniques and ended up becoming a demi-god who parries and perfectly dodges EVERY SINGLE attack. It also explains why all his story opponents (especially Ryuzo and Khotun) end up looking as if they shat themselves, lmao.

It's not so much that Shimura believes in his victory as him wanting to take responsibility. The Shogun had ordered him to kill the Ghost and Shimura was obliged to do it; both as the lord of Tsushima and as a family to Jin. Taking Jin's life was not his chance at redemption - it was his punishment.

Not dissing the game as I damn well say it's Game Of The Year worthy, but most of the stuff you get is purely cosmetic, armors are great but when maxed, again they nearly become just cosmetics with buffs, plus someone who has every ability point would still be able to use their abilities like ghost stance at the early stages and make almost everything nearly moot. I honestly say this game doesn't deserve NG+ but definitely say Sucker Punch did an amazing job.

The other ending is more saddening, but it shows Jin isn't without honor... But there are three differences afterwards, you probably know them, but for others who might read this, one is the ghost armor is permanently got a new base color, depends on your choice, sparing gives a red like color, while honoring give a white one, two is the way you return to controlling Jin, sparing he is writing, presumably a letter to his uncle or anyone, the other he wakes up from resting, and three, the house location, sparing brings you closer to Jin's old home of Omi village, ballsy really, since well... The Shogun sent new samurai, which haven't arrived yet, then for honoring, it's further south of Omi, more close to Umugi cove, with a hot spring. What's inside the house is the same, monologue is the same, talking to Yuna to start post game is slightly different at first but becomes the same. I honestly say the honor ending is the better of the two. But both are equal without bias hey truly are.

Bro, I only used 3 armors through the game. Samurai Clan Armor from Masako until I found Sakai Clan armor and then I put Ghost Armor. Until Ghost armor, I never changed my standard charm build focused on direct fights and duels. When I got Ghost Armor, I knew I'd have to include some stealth into the game (And a bit of bow related charms too)

I just fought Alten today- I activated the Ghost Stance I’d saved up from his minions, immediately used Dance of Wrath when that ran out, Heavenly Striked once, and then used Dance of Wrath again. First hit took him out and the other two diced up one of his guards.

I love the attention to detail of this, game wether you leave or kill lord shimura decides which die u get for the ghost armour, white is integrity and honour of people of Japan and red is future as per the flag that's why u get white die for giving him warriors death 😢😢 and red as ghost will be haunted in future ,also if u see closely at 39:18 there is white and red leaves... Awesome story love it

They spelled the "U" PERFECTLY WELL!!! My Japanese clients taught me some during conversations, and as myself studied for 5 years now, that "U" wasn't spelled as "you" or "yu", but rather "ugh" or "ug". If you aren't sure how to do so, try spelling Miku as "Mikug", not "Mikou" (not specifically so, but just for reference). Every character with "U" is spelled correctly in Ghost of Tsushima, and my only sin is not having a PS4 to enjoy this game yet!

This game is just so damn good. These fights are where it really shines. Just raw, 1 on 1 samurai combat. They set the scene beautifully each time. Ive never done one using the sakai armor, hell i dont even use it but i have to admit, it adds to the ferocity of the fight. Looks like a monster in that armor. I always use the gosaku armor.

Same here. It has been such a long time since I've had such a blast with a game (probably because I'm a huge fan of the Tenchu series). If it had NG+, I would've probably replayed it for the 4th time by now. Let's hope that SP add such a mode in a future update. Heck, NG+ should be mandatory in all games.

Steban Hern honestly, I think sekiro showed more polish. Probably because it was not open world, but also the cutscenes were well blocked and shot. In GoT, there are so many terrible angles. That too, stealth was also far too easy in GoT. With Sekiro, you were given more enjoyment out of stealth.

Fun fact: the weather is influenced by player's action and their methods of kills, the more often you use stealth based kills the more stormy the game's weather will be as to signify how far the player have strayed from the path of a Samurai, on the contrast if you often engage in straight forward battle the weather would be brighter.

Loving this game so much right now. Only issue I have so far is the Ryuzo story line. His men are constantly starving to the point he betrays you while everyone else is rolling around fine, and we pass by deer and boar constantly. Just seems silly to me, and breaks the immersion.
