I recommend dropping the charm of shinatsuhiko and replacing it with the charm of versatile skills, then put one charm of bludgeoning and one charm of fortune, both of these charms will be doubled so u still have space for a defence charm and a stealth charm. the defence charm I chose was charm of resistance 3 and the stealth one is the charm of silence, for an increase in health. The charm of shinatsuhiko can never be used properly because another enemy will interrupt you while attacking

Isn't it better to just switch charm of shinatsuhiko for charm of versatile skills. This way you would get double effectiveness for 2 of fortune and bludgeoning which in effect would quadruple the effects? Unless that doesn't stack?

I used to use a build like that one but, while the stagger damage is huge, melee damage was too weak. My preferred build was: Inari’s Might - Increases health and Melee damage by a Massive amount Dual Destruction I- Attacks have a 5% chance to deal double damage. 2x Dual Destruction II - Attacks have a 10% (x2 so, 20%) chance to deal double damage. Fortune I - Effects with a % chance to occur are 50% more likely to occur. Fortune II - Effects with a % chance to occur are 50% more likely to occur. So that’s a 60% chance to do double MELEE AND STAGGER damage. Inari’s might also increases melee damage and health a lot. Thanks for the video

The most overpowered build is the resolve/healing build on the samurai clan armour. You can play on Lethal difficulty and not die due to healing 75% of your health when being hit and you can spam special resolve attacks really never worrying about running out of resolve as you have an 80% chance to have 2 resolve refunded.

Yeah I love to use a hallucination dart every so often myself. So much fun to see a hallucinated enemy attacking his own crew. Very effective in killing their crew also if not leaving just a sliver of health.

I'd have to say man, as great as this is.. the build with sakai armor with 3 charms of destruction, 2 fortunes (1&2), and ferocity is 1 one hit on everybody. The terror build for ghost armor I use drops everyone around with just a perfect parry or a single kill, using terrify charm for 25% more, fortune 1 and 2, inaris might and silence charm with susanoo or bloody charm for fun, and kensei armor with resolve charms for infinite heavenly strike and add the lightning charm for fun explosions

@@TheBoyGerald upgraded my terror build for ghost armor to lvl 5 and now use fortune 1 and 2, fire doctrine, terror charm 25%, the lightning charm for heavenly strike and inaris might, it's insane. Pull some fire for a quick kill and drop almost everyone around, then heavenly strike with a chance for someone to explode from lightning, and it's pretty ripass all around, never want to switch again, sometimes I switch out the lightning charm for blood charm but it's already pretty bloody without it. But those are just effects charms that I could switch for either susanoo or silence

@@jadinwemette8251 Nice! The charm of heavenly rebuke really is something else indeed with the chance of lightning striking the enemy, the effects look pretty insane too so always fun to use it. True, game is pretty bloody in itself. To be honest, apart from the Witcher 3, this has to be one of the best open world games I've played in a long time. Definitely my game of the year!

Cool build, I added in the charm that makes the status 50% longer and it keeps bosses staggered longer and normal enemies kneeled longer and wind stance to kick them off cliffs and against walls, sometime I kick them and trigger concentration bow shot

Im finally sinking my teeth into this game and want to beat it. I'll definitely try out this build when I get there but... Im slightly questioning the math on this stagger build, unless I'm missing something. It's stated here that with the charms you have an almost 100% knock down chance. Correct me if I'm wrong, you start with 30%.. one charm increases that by 50%, so now we're up to 45%, another 50% stacked is 60%. From the way this was being explained it seemed like the math for the charms was done useing "100% chance" increase, not 50%.

it's a very good build for staggering, but i think that the susanoo charm and the two fortune charms are useless in duels since you cannot knock down enemies... i still think that a sakai armor melee build is better, and the infinite resolve kensei armor build is the very most op build in the game... still a grat video btw :)

The most broken build had to go to the Resolve Gain build (Kensei / Sarugami Armor). You just cant beat infinitely spamming heavenly strikes. But I think staggering enemies with Gosaku is pretty fun.

I love the build, just not the fortune charms. Sure you get an instant kill off of them, but it takes away from realism, plus, it’s boring to see the same animation over and over and over and over again

Agreed, but builds, in general, tend to sway away from realism since they focus on a specific capability/ability. True, but that is just the power of this build, you can always trade the charms of fortune with different charms closer to your own playing style and wishes! Glad you enjoyed the build!

The hair is white when you get the armor, but indeed I put another dye on it since the armor is orange when you get it but I bought a red dye at a vendor. I don’t know the names of the sword kit and bow so I am going to have a look in game and let you know somewhere today ;)
