@Your typical Maid No, you misunderstand. He breaks the stance with the effective stance and then switches to an ineffective stance against that enemy type purely for the aesthetic. Take 2:58 as an example. He staggers his guard with stone stance (against a swordsmen = effective) and then switches to water stance for the actual damage (there is no reason to do this other than the aesthetic of the combo). This is the last time I'm going to reply to explain this. Goodbye comment chain.

This is really done professionally. I need to learn the basic because every time I tried to make it seamless with Combos I mess up by always changng stances and rushing it after I break their posture. Well done! I learn something new!

I personally try to memorize the combo(s) look, and whenever there's a recovery (gap after a swipe on any stance) you can switch. I'm still trying to figure out *square is just meant to spam once you stagger right? at least i haven't found any light based combos...

Good to see you take up this game. Personally I really like it but I also feel that there's room for improvement if Sucker Punch makes a sequel. For example, varying up the side activities even a tiny bit more would have increased my enjoyment, but the game's consistently beautiful to look at so that can be somewhat overlooked. I'm playing on Hard Mode too. I don't have the Ghost Stance or flaming sword yet, but I recently completed the missions where you get the blow darts and Sakai armor. I have to say, I'm already feeling super powerful at this point. My Sakai armor is fully upgraded and I have a charm loadout that works well for me. I paired the charm of dual destruction II with a charm of fortune 1, making my melee attacks have a 50% chance to do double damage. If there's a charm of fortune II... that would make my build even more insane. There's a certain appeal to this sense of empowerment but as a melee combat fan, I wish there was a harder mode (free DLC for NG+ and Very Hard mode?). I like the basis of this combat, how impactful it feels, the number of tools, and so on, but it seems that there's a little too much available and fights aren't likely to tax my resources. Of course, I could impose my own restrictions--something I'm no stranger to--but I'd actually prefer for the base combat to be more demanding to start with. It seems you mostly prefer bow (enemy rapid fire archers can be pesky!) and swordplay, and your stance switching is quite quick. It looks like you might be imposing your own restrictions too since you passed up on standing off, which is understandable. I'm a man of your more unusual tricks like jumping over the sword strike at 2:53. Good to see some kick + fall love. I never pass up a good opportunity for fall damage in games. For some reason I laughed when you shoulder rushed through the sliding door at 6:27. What a rude samurai you are. I do think the shoulder bash might be an overlooked move, it's good for knocking down if you find the right opening. I also like the fully upgraded stone style and its triple stab. Nice reach, and again useful with the right opening. Hope to see more gameplay. I'll looking forward to seeing if the threat level scales up later in the game as I complete my arsenal.

HnStactics the base chance of the charm of dual destruction II is 10%. The charm of fortune increases the 10% by 50%. 10x0,5=15 that’s how it’s calculated. It’s definitely not 10+50=60 (nvm misread your comment, but the calculation is right ;))

Thanks! It’s definitely similar to Gow if you didn’t use lock on, can’t speak on w3 or ac as I haven’t played. Point the left stick in the direction of the enemy you want to attack.

You'll get there man, your already past me with operating the damn camera... that's my biggest enemy. I Personally like dance of Wrath and Heavenly strike with the 2nd stance for overall damage output. u can always invest in the arrow deflect. So although the stance based is a little slower than Nioh/ 2 do you like this or Sekiro better? I really hope they put out a patch so when the camera collides with an object it either moves in, or gives transparency to that object. God of War 3 combat 360 degree offence and dodges would benefit rather than "squaring off" with a "circle" of enemies... slight oversight on Sucker Punch, Still incredible and enjoyable however. Once Combat ensues that "cinematic" camera option is ok, but you can barely move it during traversal, so that's an issue.... If Sony Santa Monica just helped with camera rigging and shit since there's no lock on, it'd be great. I think there's only 8 way dodging and striking however, that shit needs to be 360 Degree lol.

My only complaint about this game is the lack of dismemberment. You should be able to chop off heads and legs, and even open up their chest with a slash. I want more gore because I am a twisted bastard lol, nice gameplay though!
