I for one hope they dont add a compass or minimap. The guiding wind and animal guides were the best immersive way for objectives ive seen in any open world game. Other games like FF7 Rebirth have tried to copy certain elements, but it just didnt matter since you could just look at the minimap.

One of my favorite things about ghost of Tsushima is that it’s the right amount of realistic and the right amount of video game You don’t have dumb mechanics like “showering different parts of your body” like Red dead redemption 2 or “picking up beans 1 at a time” or “watching your horse poop” and many more stuff of that nature So no, I truly don’t wouldn’t want a feature like that, it’s just a waste of time in my opinion. I would like new traversal options though. Boats might be a neat idea and I’d like some stealth segments that require water since the first game had a feature where Jin could hold his breath under the water but it truly Served no purpose

Issue I see is that the 1600s was the “most stable and peaceful period in Japan's premodern history” and the fact that there’s guns makes me feel the game is taking place too far in the future. Plus GoT has so many open ends to the story as well that would have made a sequel natural and not forced

Katanas weren't even a thing back in Tsushima times and ninja techniques were actually developed around the time of Yotei, so it's actually Yotei that's infinitely more historically accurate with its tech than Tsushima. Also, nah, Jin himself denies any avenue for a sequel.

My GOY wishlist 1. Puzzle solving side activity. Puzzle climbing on shrines is fine but I want to solve some puzzles to get rewards 2. Harder stealth gameplay. On hard mode even without perks and in big Samurai Armor enemies can't see me often when they should. Also I would like them to react on sounds. Like you can Shoji assassinate somebidy and they guy who is 2 meters away won't even notice 3. Hunting. I don't mean hunting like in RDR2 but some Far Cry vibes where you have to gather some particular pelts to craft something. For example: 3 serrow pelts to have better bag 4. Combat Camera improvement 5. Multiple endings so I have any other reason to play New Game+ except from trying to beat game on Lethal Difficulty (2-3 endings would be perfect) 6. More sidetales with certain characters that have at least 5 quests to complete whole. My dream one is Shinobi Tale (has to be 9 missions ot even more) in which you practise stealth and learn new techniwues and abilities. 7. Weapon skill path. When upgrading your weapon on each stage you can choose 1 of 3 abilities/perks for this weapon 8. Another reason for New Game+. You can't unlock all abilities in one playthrough. You have several ability trees (Stealth, Offence and Defence) and you aren't able to unlock all of the abilities. For stances you would have sepparate points and trees in order to unlock them all (bcs i hope stance system will stay) 9. JIN SAKAI MYTHIC TALE IS A F***ING MUSTHAVE (Sakai Armor and Katana to unlock)

I think they should keep all open world activities from the first game including the ones from iki island. But definitely add some more engaging ones, like maybe someone is taken hostage on horseback and you have to give chase, or a more detailed hunting system like Red dead in a way, with rare animals. And also a fishing system, more NPCs traveling around and stuff to make the world feel alive, not just enemies but local military, or militia, bandits, or wandering traders with guards. Or even battles that break out in the open world that you can join in on. Also more variety and customisation for mounts without going to over the top or anything with goofy out of place looking cosmetics.

I'll make a list: - improved horse crossing, more speed options and a more distant camera (Red Dead 2 is a good example to follow in my opinion). - water needs to be improved in relation to got, obviously not a priority because Atsu won't have much gameplay in water I believe... but with such a beautiful game the water needs to live up to that beauty - climbing and verticality (the places where Jin could climb were sometimes so obvious that they were a platform for climbing that they ended up ‘spoiling’ the environment a bit... I think this needs to be improved, better smoothing out the objects/areas where you can climb/grasp - artificial intelligence for the enemies - make the stance system a little more complex. ‘An enemy comes in armour to use stance X’... I think you need something a bit more complex than that throughout the game... you need the enemies and the combat to be challenging/new until the end of the game - random encounters !!! one of the most important things for me !! saving people and being cheated/rewarded, sudden fights, being attacked by animals or saving animals !! surprise the player !!! variety and unique and memorable experiences... learning techniques for swords, swords/armour with special features ( RDR 2 once again is an example to follow in this regard) - if you make an online mode...PVP mode please !!!

GOT is one of the best open worlds I've played in. The visuals are beautiful, and the gameplay is extremely solid. Yes, the game gets repetitive, especially after a few playthroughs. I'm no expert in Japanese history of the period for the game but from what I've read sucker punch did their due diligence in researching the subject

The exploration of the beautiful island is outstanding and the combat (though repetitive) is truly cinematic. I am reminded of the black White films of Musashi, The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi or Seven Samurai; Great sword battles of Samurai with Purpose. The Ancient Japanese culture has always been a curiosity to me, and the Introduction of the HAIKU Poetry (5-7-5 / 3 lines/ 17 syllables) is a pleasant surprise as well as the Shrines (Funny Fox).

I love the design of the new protag. I liked playing in the Ronin or similar outfits the most instead of heavy Samurai armors. By alr showing her off in somewhat of a Ronin like fit from the very beginning I hope that the story will be a bit more gloomy and involve the protag getting involved with the criminal underworld. The development of Jin going from honorable Samurai to assassin was cool. Up to the bitter end he tried to convince himself that hed make everything right once the enemy was gone. But Im also ready to view the world through some less honorable and idealistic view

The most major knock I had on Ghost of Tsishima was that exploration grew stale. There was way too little variety to keep me engaged. I also hope they add more customization pieces in the next game...and if they do an online mode they should let us use the outfits we earn online in the single player mode as well

If they don’t throw DEI in it I don’t care of my protagonist as a female. I will play the shit out of it, but they try to throw some politics into it then I’m definitely going to pass on it and it breaks my heart to say it just don’t pre-order and follow the news on it. Ether we have stances or we get 4/3 weapons an each one is used for different things an maybe the story will take a different path as in since jin had to learn stealth maybe she already knows stealth an has to learn to not fight in just the shadows an face her enemies head on idk just a different take on the game but I wish we still had jin even if he’s older ion see how they can just get rid of the character 😢

I quit original ghost after 10 hours because of how repetitive the open world is. Glad that’s a major thing they are working on changing for the sequel. Also hoping for combat focused more on parrying and riposte since regular ghost didn’t have that and it’s a big part of katana combat.

they really need to improve parkour system in the sequel. Climbing those mountains for shrine were really basic, repetative and sometime annoying.
