If I remember correctly, that face wasn't actually supposed to be for Papa 3 and that it was just a mix up, but Tobias continued to work with it until he got the actual mask for Papa 3

Well, they played bigger venues at this time period as well. This show is more of an homage to their origins. It's in Linköping, where the band is based. Both Papa I > Papa II transition and Papa II > Papa III transitions were there

Well, if you think about it, the whole idea of trying to make everyone think he is a different person kind of helps the whole "anonymous" aspect of the band, in a weird but alright way. To be honest, idc if he's a different person or not, I just fucking love the band anyways.

Lukas Kucera I remember reading how that mask was literally the cause of a fuckup on the part of their marketing team, it was supposed to be mask we have now all along. I guess they have a whole lineup for future papa mask designs. I remember reading some obscure shit how they wanted to try a "Count Emeritus" thing for a minute, mor vampirey and deco-theater oriented, and I guess that reflects Papa IIIs alternate costume for outdoor and acoustic shows.

Fun Fact even this mask wasn't the first Papa Emeritus 3 mask there's a video on KZbin talking about the video where Sister says I BRING YOU PAPA EMERITUS THE THIRD and it's him in the darkness but a behind the scenes video shows a different mask even from this! So Papa 3 has the most confusing masks of them all but there's like 2-3 shows they did with this mask and I remember seeing the Papa 3 Promo video on Loudwire with this mask at a bit venue in he for a few seconds. If anyone knows what concert that was and where to find it please let me know.
