Ghost is so much fun. Sometimes people take them too seriously, and that's a shame. They are great, and one is just meant to _enjoy_ their music. I highly suggest _Rats_ and _Dance Macabre_ for two more completely different examples of just how fun Ghost can be. 🤘

@@infin8reactions Yeah, Ghost is Swedish Black Metal if I remember correctly. this genre is particularly santanic in it lyrics but not usually in active belief. Tobias Forge (Ghost) calls himself a satanist but doesn't actively believe the devil is a actual entity. Great Video, Love Ghost.

@@ElyonDominus True, It is about a religious authority figure speaking to a person who feels lonely and sad and therefore vulnerable, someone who mistakes manipulation for empathy. I don't know why many people still don't understand the message XD

Ghost is a phenomenal theatrical band. They always give a nice chill vibe in their music but get alot of hate from the metal community for some reason. Also, have you reacted to Timebomb - Motionless in white yet? Its an absolute banger.

Amazing band to see live. First time I saw them live was in a small theater and they were the only act. Easily the best concert I've ever been to.

Cirice - (Sir EEce) This is the name of the little girl in the video. Say it like geese or fleece, but replace the first consonant(s) with the word "sir." The emphasis is on the 2nd syllable. If this doesn't help, the mother in the video actually says her name softlu at the very beginning. 👍

Bit late to the party but I think you missed that wasn't actually the band on stage, it was a group of children. The timpanis practically dwarf the kid playing the drummer. They're really great at pantomime, though, but the kid doing Papa just has his face painted instead of a full mask that's also painted. You can also see his long hair tied back when he's conducting the solos, and Tobias Forge wears his fairly short. He does a pretty good impression though, the wizard finger thing was big with that Papa. If you like the horror music vibe, they just dropped this week the single off Halloween Kills, called Hunters Moon. Check it out.

The best way I can describe ghost is if Geddy Lee from rush made a metal band. The licks and guitar is so heavy in this song but like the singing sounds more like a 70's rock bad its so unique and def a much needed breath of fresh air imho. I got into betzefer and they sounded just like so many other metal bands I didnt find anything unique till ghost and before ghost Kontrust the german-folkish style metal band(they wear lederhosen and shit in their music vids and are soooo unapologetically german I loved it).

good morning Lee. I went to twitch and rewatched the live stream you had a couple of days ago and some of the videos have no sound. Mine the cut the cord video starts out with sound then it disappears. It's very odd, thought I'd let you know.

Yeah it's because of the copyright on the music, although you can watch the music when I'm live, twitch cuts out the sound when you replay it, that's just how they handle copyright

Every time I react to Ghost I'm so torn! I love a lot of their music, but sometimes the meaning makes me wonder. Since a lot is connected with Satan...it really depends on the song I guess. So far it's been okay. I like to interpret the songs as more of a warning...like Satan is telling you he knows what you're going through trying to get you to think he's not bad. Idk. It probably isn't, but I cant like the lyrics otherwise just because I'm very much a Christian.

That was my one hold-up with Ghost at first, but my personal taste enjoys unique voices. Just needed a few more listens and now I'm obsessed with them...
