This is definitely a very underrated game. I always come back to it with so much to do even after the campaign, have replayed to the campaign on both modes. I know it got a bad rap for mini reasons, but at the same time hopefully Ubisoft uses elements from this and wildlands into the next installment and just fix and improve on it.

But in general the game is smooth and the world beautifully done. I definitely hope and wish next time they add room breaching, with a 4 man stack. That would be awesome, I also like the Pathfinder class because using thermal gas and always will be awesome.

The first thing that hurt this game was having to constantly swap a weapon you liked because of the leveling, (they fixed this) but the other thing is the mechs. Personally, not a fan.

The environment is so dead compared to Wildlands. If they wanted a Pacific Island they should have taken cues from Far Cry 3 perfect blend of a South East Asian Malayo-Polynesian archipelago. Good mix of Jungle and beach etc. The island in Ghost Recon is based off New Zealand/South Pacific environments. Golem Island is an example where they did it a bit better mixing in the volcanic landscape. Breakpoint just feels lifeless, no variety to the bases and locations. Could have a done a sick tribal temple that has been occupied by Wolves with underground entrances etc would have been so sick. Other than that they have improve over the game over the years and its definitely a lot more fun in immersive mode and a lot smoother than Wildlands. I'm still addicted to Breakpoint no matter how much I whine about it. 😂😂

I love this game but I still dont feel its on par with wildlands. The vast jungles and populated cities made wildlands feel alive. Breakpoint is fun but it needs more life. I miss walking through cities and engaging the cartel in the streets and having civilians running past you and taking cover. It really made you use your environmental awareness.

Imagine a ghost recon type game, except your in the U.S. which has been completely taken control of by a foreign country. The U.S. military has been completely eradicated, so you play as a civilian/former law enforcement. Since your American, you have a solid selection of guns, and can get more from enemy bases.

Honestly a good Red Dawn type game in general would be really awesome but it does have to be done right. I remember a game called Homefront who's single player I never personally got to play, that was based off that same concept of the US being taken over. It didn't get the best reviews from what I heard but the concept itself was really cool, I believe it was the execution where it fell flat. A game with Breakpoint's general playstyle and mechanics (albeit more realistic I'd hope) just given a it's own title would definitely be something I'd personally check out if it was done right!

I was sitting there saying to myself " and here's where I would die" when that breacher and drone snuck up on you. Oh my god the use of that drone too, I knew the route you were going to take but my problem is I go full autistic and have to kill everyone. LOVED how you quickly switched to your pistol and walked backwards as you were shooting. Sorry I'm just in awe of how good and meticulous that was. Super impressive. Subscription earned. I agree. Now it would be difficult so there should be a slider of how it is now to exactly what you say. Then in the middle have it where you can see over in 3rd person but if you never spotted the enemy before taking cover they will be invisible. Allowing you to only see the terrain until you finally do spot the enemy which then the enemy will only stay visible maybe like 15 seconds until spotted again out of cover. If that makes sense.

I wish I could mod stims to work while injured however the catch being it acts like adrenaline and temporarily gives you no injury, and it gives temporary HP that drains over time. When that HP drain is gone your injury returns to bite you until you treat it.

SEAL squad wouldnt have back packs, they go in do the job and get out unless they know they gonna be camping for weeks which is rare they wouldnt have a backpack, and if you follow the ghost recon story they were stranded and thier mission was get in find out what happened to ship and get out so they wouldve packed light and most likely not had a pack just ammo and a few rations for bout 2 days 3 tops, so youd be stranded too with no gear hence the shoot n loot aspect
