I was really hoping we were going to have a fistfight to the death, which would have resulted in Walker trying to pull out a knife and use it only to be stabbed in the chest by Nomad, which would have then ended with Nomad running away due to the wolves that are now rushing into the base, only to find Walker dead in a pool of his own blood giving them a reason to actively hunt down Nomad even moreso.

I’d have played it like Shadow of the tomb raider you shoot the guy til he is vulnerable then close in for a knife finisher but because he’s a ghost too you end up having to do it a bunch then Had something put you both on critical hp and swinging at each other like a pair of drunks or having a last second struggle for a pistol ending with walker getting fatally shot conclusion is Nomad having to stealth out of there on critical health while the remaining wolves try to locate him THAT’S HOW YOU DO A FINAL BOSS UBISOFT

accidentally walked into this fight at a low level and now I'm sad. apparently he's supposed to show up in a lot of cutscenes, but hill replaces him if you clap him early. dang, too good for my own good......

I've killed him with only doing 4-5 missions into the game and I honestly feel so disappointed... why didnt they lock this until the end?? Now I feel unsatisfied about it and its leaving a sour feeling towards completing this game now

Graphics aren't downgraded but it is gray. The environment has just got nothing on Bolivia. Plus it's fictional so you don't get any of the cultural and historical bits of the game.

The info you get from commanders is rng, so you can get walker mission way too early.

Compare this convoluted cliffhanger ending to that of Wildlands and it doesn't stack up at all. They put no effort into this at all, Wildlands had two separate endings both of which provided a somewhat satisfying conclusion to the game. That's not even mentioning the forced micro-transactions and contradictory game design.

@Nikki Necro Contradictory in that the game is trying to be a gear score based division style looter shooter and a MilSim in the same breath. Those two things just don't really work well together at all. On the one hand the game is telling you that you should grind to get better quality gear to take on harder content but on the other hand every enemy still dies in one headshot regardless of their level. Imagine the Division, except every enemy dies in one headshot regardless of their level and the AI is 10x worse. There would be no challenge at all.
