It’s called “Semi-Automatic” because it will automatically put a round in the chamber after discharging (if there is more than one round in the magazine) BUT you have to manually reset the firing pin via releasing the trigger. Therefore a fully automatic weapon such as a LMG will continue to fire because the weapon has a actuating system that doesn’t require you to release the trigger.

Mike Dooley semi automatic means when you fire one round, an other one cycles automatically into the chamber. You don’t need to make any actions to that like a bolt action or pump action. And sorry if i spelled things wrong or something english isn’t my primary language.. i’m still learning.
