Now that Ubi's given up on this game, I hope the mod community's free to come in and fix it (Especially since there's still MASSIVE screw ups with the mountains in some regions. I wish they at least finished it before moving on)

They already have; check out the Spartan mod, and authentic warfare mod. Plus there are visual overhaul reshades available. Not so much with fixing some of the wonky terrain unfortunately lol

I agree with everything you said and it’s same story for me about this game, bought it really cheap and I enjoy it a lot. Other bad things about this game are long range shooting and weapons sounds (shooting, weapons doesn’t have unique sounds) and of course the story which is mediocre. Other “poor” thing is personalization, it’s fine but you have to pay to have the coolest things and visors are huge, I would love to play a game where if you don’t have a night vision attachment you just can’t use it, i just love realistic games and I think Breakpoint is halfway there but still pretty fun and entertaining experience you can get by playing it.

If you want more difficult in your Ghost Recon Breakpoint gameplays, then I recommend the Spartan Mod for PC. You can tweak a lot of things in regards to enemies, that perhaps should have been default or customizable in the game.

if you are willing to take the risk the spartan mod for PC makes the game way better. The problem is the mod is technically against terms of service so you could be banned. Never happened to me though. Been using it for over a year now.

Like others I started following your channel way back due to your Ghost Recon videos so it's great to see you go back to the well with another Breakpoint video! Between PS5 and Series X I have 1,000 hours in game, and just recently started playing on PC with the Spartan and authentic warfare mods which completely change the game for the better. Even without mods the game is great and underrated as hell!

I agree. Phenomenal game for a cheap price. I’ve been playing since release and watching, learning, liking and commenting on your vids thanks to the patient tutelage you share about aspects of this game. I’d also give mention to the co-op factor though too. The AI teammate mechanic is ridiculously lemming-style broken, but 2 to 4 player co-op playing either missions, immersive role play, and especially raiding put this game at the top of my list. I’m still part of Sneaky Squad community and other Discord channels as there is still a big fan base that makes this game that much better. I’m glad you still enjoy this game for what it is and even though I’m only just under 900hrs on my accounts, I agree that taking a step back here and there helps to relieve the frustration of the broken elements within the game that Ubisoft either delayed or ignored fixing altogether for their greedy NFT marketing scheme that blew up in their face, to which the community resoundingly said ‘Sod off!!’. Looking forward to the next GR game and will be looking for content vids in all the usual places to learn from, when it drops. I hope you cover it, Brother. Stay Frosty! 😎👍

Breakpoint is honestly a great game. I originally played the trial version like 3 years ago, thought it was cool but then kinda forgot about it. Then a few months later it was on sale for like 20 bucks and i bought it. Been playing it ever since, even bought it again on PC like you did, except this time it was on sale for $7 lmao. So for 2 versions of the game i paid 27 dollars and ive got about 300 hours between pc and console. That means for every $1 i spent, i got 11 hours of fun out of it. Phenomenal price to entertainment ratio

I agree and approved what you're saying and it's SO GOOD in gameplay, and the varaity of this game is amazing: climbing mountains, swimming, diving, stealth , classes, ranks, weapons especially parachute and character customization and wearing, also mud camo is perfect like Arnold in PREDATOR movie, and so many. I spend 400 hours to finish it all without bonus Ep2 and Ep3 BUT, the BIG issues I always face and they are killing my mood in this game there are many Glitches in climbing, getting stucked while swimming and the most ANNOYING parts are swapping to pistol is freaking SLOW and sucks BAD, I mean like even Gaz in Call of Duty Metal Gear always says "changing to side arm is always faster than reloading". The second one is lifting a corpse is taking a year to be done, I meant lifting dead enemy and walk with them is bad and so slow. I really wish Ubisoft fix those deadly mistakes.

I'm so glad you don't have to beat the campaign to play the motherland DLC. I got to the final boss and never finished it. I just enjoyed the open world. You should totally spook a Tactician for a video and how crazy it can get.

I enjoy your videos and discovered you during your Breakpoint coverage. I agree with your take on this game. I was one of the people that pre-ordered the collectors edition so I paid premium for it. However, even though there are some issues with the game, I do not regret my purchase (even at full price). That's because I feel that due to all of the hours of enjoyment I've gotten from it, it was a good entertainment investment. I still play it quite often.

I got this game close to the end of last year. And it is AMAZING. The story is ehh, but the battles are wild. And depending on your settings not only can you do realism well, the terminator saga stuff is insane. Its all fun and games when its you and your squad vs a army and you hear screams of terror and explosions in the enemy compound only to see a T-800 mow down 3 squads in 20 seconds 😳

Excellent game when played in immersive hardcore mode. Wish the AI was better in detecting you though, you can leave bodies in the street and walk really near to them and they still don't notice you. It's a shame as when are detected they do a great job of fighting - flanking, grenades, etc.

We need a NEW GR ASAP!!!!! I have trouble replaying stuff and Ive been craving a new ghost recon. Also you should play through all of the story. I hope the next GR is made on the newest snowdrop engine instead of Anvil Next/2.0. Unless they can make the landscapes look like in AC Valhalla they should go with Snowdrop because TD2 looks amazing compared to GRB(landscapes and vegetation)

Yes this game and all the other war games by Ubisoft I have most of them and still play. I mostly just come into bases and steal high-tier equipment and go all out war on the base to see how long it takes to be killed or take over the base. I have BF-2042 but I play more of ubisoft war games because EA games is not a Top Dog anymore due to them being more for the money then making and player count then the game being worth playing. I'm starting some projects using the Ureal Engin 5. These are the games of the future but there should be an AI game play and A Human game play so if you play on a console you play the game as console user and if you are a PC user you as an AI. Games of the future the players will be teaching the AI how to copy game play based on game play!

If you compare where the game is now compared to where it was when it launched the devs really did do a good job of “polishing a turd” so to speak. I think after 2 years of updates they were right to stop development. There wasn’t really much more they could do with the mess that they put out to start with. But I’m quietly hopeful that after seeing the changes they made to this game, and the fact that they cancelled Frontline, that they are listening to GR community and that the next Recon game due for 2025 will really hit the spot. We’ve all made countless comments on what we want for the next game and no doubt Ubi won’t get it all right but I think they’ve listened to us and I have really high hopes for the next entry in the franchise. I still play breakpoint now and you’re right, no other game gives you the open world tactical freedom and stealth base clearing gameplay like Ghost Recon. I hope that’s what they build on

My biggest issue with GRBP is the games for live service model. I hate being kicked out of single player because Ubisoft can’t keep their servers stable. I’m so done with companies crippling single player games with online only mechanics.
