I hate this damn mission so much. The worst part is if you get shot down at the helicopter part, you start back before shutting off the generator and have to sneak around again. Horrible game design right here and it made me quit this game until recently.

Just land the heli on the bank the second you get the helicopter part are are on the Unidad radar, lay down In the grass till the patrol thing goes away and then just fly to the finish

i managed to do both these missions 100% solo and stealth. never even got shot at or raised one alarm.

i also only used an smg and my drone. no rebels or spawned vehicles. i blended a bunch of community tactics and tactics of my own after playing for over 6 years

Pro tip, you can get on with the mission without turning off the generator and you can also just gung ho past the guards; just kill the 4 guys near the chopper (including the sniper to the left) then you can immediately proceed with flying the thing

I did this mission just 2 days ago (in my first Wildlands playthrough) and I can easily say that the worst part is that titanic helicopter which is very slow in avoiding the other copters missiles, otherwise this was a pretty easy one. Ask Sam Fisher if I'm right or not...

as I struggle with this, getting blown up by a SAM once I clear the airbase, repeatedly - you take the time to even take out the last two patrollers on the heli pad side of things - a lot of vids/guides talk about how the tower snipers not just can spot you lurking for the pilot etc - they in fact spot the heli departing - and "call in the SAMs" at the airstrip part etc - you almost had no target lock on at all - only from two sources - other videos show lock on's from multiple angles like 4 or so - I think that's meant to represent who in the vicinity of the helipad sees the jailbreak - and you get punished accordingly. When I respawned in the RV with Kozak on arcade PS4, only had to do the helo bit - no pilot - but everyone spawned in, tower snipers, the genny working again - I didn't do any of that I bee-lined for the choppa and got punished accordingly. In a way, I think the game mechanic is: "if you get to the choppa without taking out witnesses to the jail break and the genny - good for you - but ya still gonna get punished with a SAM" really really is looking to me the more enemies you take out on the helipad section and the snipers, the more luck on escape flight without getting made

This game sometimes become shit due to bugs. I'm not even able to start this mission. I'm getting detected instantly after entering the game what should i do? Not even getting a single chance, restarted game multiplayer times. Unidad helicopter comes and detects me anyhow. Pls help if anyone faced same issue like me.

My play style must be really different from most, this mission was fairly easy and I was at tier 7 in tier one mode when I did it. 100% tactical for the first part, took my time completely clearing the base with rebel spotting and sync shots. For second part as soon as I cleared the canyon and got the unidad alert I got elevation with the helicopter and shot down the unidad choppers.

literally just go the same way he goes after he shuts off the generator and cut thru those tents u should have 1 enemy to deal with and if you see a flag keep goin straight and you'll see the pilot (Sorry if it doesn't make sense just tryna help)

Update. Soon as u land. Just run to the entrance on the left n get inside. The game will save then saving you the endless frustration. Then you can proceed to the awesome stealth sniping and frustrating helicopter steal. Sadly, theres no option to gun butt that annoying whiny npc right in his face!!!
