First of all, I love how you added that quote from the Avengers' book at the start of the video. Robbie isn't like any other Ghost Rider, and honestly, he doesn't WANT to be like the rest of them. Never had been, even from the start of his first solo series (even comments about how making a deal with the devil is insane to Johnny, lol) That's what makes him, him. Second, LOVE the gameplay you're showing off of him here. He might take some time for a turn-based newbie like me to use him properly, but I definitely want to try him on my team!

Okay, okay, I never really got attached to the "Car Ghost Rider", but that quote in the beginning kinda earned a bit of favor for him in my book. A Ghost Rider that's looking at being a demonic entity for what it really is; a nightmare for his life? I can get behind that. Also, it feels good to see him actually RIDE his cars hood. Since he's a Ghost RIDER, not a Ghost Driver.

Hopefully the character/story video on Robbie warms you up to him even more when it's posted. He's a solid character with a lot on his plate, really won me over in the comics when Johnny asks him if he ever made a deal with the devil, and Robbie basically responds with "why would I do a stupid thing like that??". Heh. The car definitely allows for some sick fight scenes and some extra abilities (pocket dimension in the trunk ftw) that I'm hoping we'll see in cutscenes as well as in attacks.

@@rebeckymo I like Robbie too, but how can he have the same powers as Johnny as Ghost Rider? Robbie is possessed by his dead Uncle and Johnny was possessed by the ancient demon Zarathos. I could never understand that.

@@user-iu8ho4gf4m I did a little digging and I discovered that Robbie's uncle was not the source of his Ghost Rider powers. An exorcism was done on Robbie by Damien Hellstrom to get rid of Eli and they discovered that an identified Spirit of Vengeance is in Robbie. Eli was exorcised and the Spirit of Vengeance remained.

@@mezurashi_519 Hulk is in the game already and he is popular. Probably made sense from a time/cost perspective. Marvel has too many characters. They said that the roster was 25 originally but had to scale it down. If the game is successful maybe we will get more characters.

That Immolate ability looks like a great way to set up a nasty combo on a boss that likes to bring in extra trash mobs. Get another character to gather up all the trash and drop it right on top of the boss, then his the lowest health one with Immolate and set up a chain reaction of explosions right on top of the boss.

personally i think the last char is Hannibal King, been thinking it since the hunters hat in the yuletide video, the only object not pointing toward any of the chars in game. and it would be a really cool addition to the supernatural side of the team.

Deadpool will be the first character but I don’t know what order the other three are coming but they are Morbius, storm and venom. As far as I know this season pass will drop sometime early next year.

The thing that I don't like about Ghost Rider, is that virtually all of his cards have a negative effect attached. Like Hell Ride. Hell Ride forces you to discard your entire hand when you use it. The only time the negative effect doesn't matter, is if Hell Ride is the last card in your hand, and you have nothing to discard, or if using it finishes off the last enemy, then you don't need any more cards. A few of them cause Ghost Rider to take damage, and having him disappear from the battlefield and have a hellmouth take his place, means he gets no other actions for the whole next turn. If you have a lot of GR cards in your hand, you have to use your redraws to get more cards for the other two heroes to play until GR returns. If GR isn't a mandatory character for a mission, I leave him home.

I really hope that the 13th hero is someone on my list - Doctor Voodoo (although he' s probably least likely to be the 13th hero) - Elsa Bbloodstone (she' s badass and would be perfect for the Midnight Suns; I' m sure she'd do a lot of damage but I have a bit more complexity to her kit) - Moon Knight (PLEASE HE NEEDS TO BE IN THIS GAME HE'S AN ORIGINAL MIDNIGHT SON) - Hellstrom (Great fit for a Midnight Suns game and it would be a great oppotunity to introduce Hellstrom to the Marvel gaming world)

The developers put so much characterization into Ghostrider: Robbie Reyes’ combat style; I’m very intrigued with what has been shown and so excited to play him when the game releases! Tangential to my previous statement, but I hope Hulk becomes a playable character in this game and I’m almost certain he is one. So little has been revealed about his character besides his role as an antagonist in the game.

This game has 8 difficulties. So I assume you can pick how hard you want your experience to be. From what I am seeing you probably will need multiple play throughs.

I dunno the difficulties but between being a marvel game (wanting more broad appeal) and 8 difficulty options, I'd be shocked if you can't find a more forgiving difficulty. I know it can be hard enough that in the live showcase they did the other week, the dev's had to try an encounter three times, so it can still bare some teeth if you want it to lol

No offense to the dev playing that time, but he was really underperforming, with bad choices in characters deck (way too much heroic card when not enough skill to pump heorism to play them) and poor decisions making (focusing wrong targets, bad redraws, etc etc), i really think every character will be op when played correctly !
