It came to my mind instantly too, went to see in movies it and have the dvd. Great movie, one of the best bank robbery scenes for me in a movie. Just the nervous high pitch screaming of Goslin, the bike not almost starting, it was so intense when seeing it the first time. But yes the character especially at the carneval scenes and couple others shows that he could pull Ghost Rider off. Ofcourse he would most likely make a bit differend spin to the character rather than do the same as in The Place Beyond The Pines even tho it's something that would work very well. Some people say that Goslin cannot act, but they don't understand acting. Goslin manages to give so much emotions with doing so little and you are never thinking what was that, but understand what the character feels when you are supposed to know (it's just his style, every actor have their own unique method for acting if they don't rigarously follow for example styles like method acting.. and still two method actors does it most likely differently). Goslin have done convincing skinhead, addicted teacher, just having lost the plot from trauma, seemingly psychotic break having young man, differens kinda lovers, criminals, in politics, lawyer, musical and comedic characters, all kinds of roles and pulls them off not many being Really in the end alike to one another. I haven't seen First Man but heard that there his style doesn't work, I would almost certain blame the director or cutting choices if that is so, even without yet seeing it. But I'll watch it just to see what is going on with the movie. You just kinda have to adapt into Goslin like Russo brothers very clearly did using his style as an advantage. When he was coming in the know after Drive the critique was a bit samekinda that Brad Pitt got early 2000 to 2010 (but not nearly as bad or universal). I used to defend him all the time and remind of his roles like in Fight Club, Se7en, Snatch, Sleepers, 12 Monkeys, Kalifornia. After 2000 Burn After Reading, Jesse James, Babel, Troy and couple on the fence movies on top of Ocean's 11 etc. where the was jjstbwas to be charismatic so he was called just pretty boy, because Mr. & Mrs. Smith type of movies that was the minority (people said he cannot act). Suddenly when Tarantino co-signed him with huge praises from his role in Inglorious Basterds people started to say that he is a good actor.. it took that, crazy. A bit of an tangent here, sorry for that.

I want Keanu, but because of his age, you can do a 1 movie deal and pass it over to Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider(MCU needs a male Mexican American representation in a large role). Jon Bernthal returns as The Punisher during this time frame and then eventually becomes Cosmic Ghost Rider. Trilogy of 3 different riders with Jon Bernthal's Cosmic rider being the main part of the universe going forward. Ryan Gosling has to be the new Wolverine and Logan rides motorcycles so there you go. We need a good MCU ghost rider period. And doing Johnny's story for a couple films and passing the torch to Robbie I think would be the best way to do it. Make it a multi movie arc. We introduce both characters, robbie as a young kid in a scene in first ghost rider movie with Ryan who isn't ghost rider yet. Imagine Little robbie at one of Johnny's performances? Forshadowing? I think that would be awesome. Would love they introduce Mephisto/ with this and connect it to wanda/doctorstrange/agitha? To me seeing more than one ghost rider riding at the end leading into midknight suns would be dope as fuck, one on a motorcycle, one on a horse, one in a charger. GIVE IT TO US MARVEL!!!
