@@666rbr That's a good question. I'm not sure what he's hearing. My guess is no on his own vocal because it could be very confusing. Probably just certain cues.

@@666rbr No, there are no backing tracks. The ear monitors serve two purposes, (1) ear protection from the 140+ decibel music on stage, and (2) to clearly hear the band.

@@VyperVenom It's often (relatively) quiet on stages if the whole band is using IEMs because (with larger bands) the FOH sound is in front of the stage. Still, never a bad idea to have ear prot with a live performance. IEMs for larger acts also often have a click track in their IEMs to keep things in sync with video and other effects, in addition to giving the band a way to hear notes from stage managers as to anything that is going on that they need to be aware of.

Papa is so amazing on stage. And Spillways is one of my favorite songs!! It puts such a big stupid grin on my face, seeing him and the ghouls enjoying the song as much as I do. Really hope they keep it on the setlist for the US tour!! So stoked to see them in August!

Was front row of this show and got pushed back 2 rows cause some drunk idiot had to get pushed forward to get escorted out by security. Still the best concert I've ever been to and will be going to many more. Ghost really know how to put on a show, not just sing songs but create an almost theatrical performance and actually interact with the fans. No better band on this earth for their dedication to their fans.
