@@samjuiced I honestly recommend Cirice as it feels a bit heavier, that and the lyrics and message behind it are so damn genius that I legitimately wrote a paper dissecting it while in high school English. Year Zero is also fantastic. It’s not all the heavy, I just adore it for having a feeling of absolute scope using a synthesized orchestra and a choir on the level of Gangster’s Paradise. Rats is also great, that’s one of the more heavy songs as well. That and I can’t get enough of Cardinal Copia frolicking through death and chaos. Edit: Dance Macabre is written using puns to sound like a pop love song. And it slaps…yeah pretty much everything is good.

I grew up in an abusive home. No one will ever truly know the pure rage and sadness I keep dammed up inside, only letting it out to a select few people. Even if it's by people that I don't know and likely never will, being told that it's okay to cry and be angry and let it out, is so incredibly moving. My spillways are the drums and music. Human beings were born with a good and dark side and there needs to an integration of both in one’s life, nowadays people often try so hard to be good that they repress their dark side and feel consequently unhappy, this song both sounds good and has a degree of darkness added to it therefore it has that dark positivity that you mentioned which most of us feel when listening to it This song serves as an example of what happens when you finally integrate and and allow some darkness to be felt Sort of feels like screaming in a society that forces you to keep quiet all the time

Everything I try n explain the true meaning of this band my comment gets deleted instantly..I know why..and it because everyone needs to figure it out themselves..it truly comes down to.. Which cup do you fill?? Listen to ghost n there songs on the beginning years...then listen to there songs when Cardinal copia comes into play..or his first spectacle..listen to copias words in beginning on stage my friend... He says..change is coming...change is not a bad thing.. I hope this don't get deleted but ghost is giving you the choice with there songs...they don't judge anyone..do you fill the darker side of things...or do you fill the lighter side of things? Which cup do you fill the most? Ultimately in the end when we all die...what happens to all of us..we turn into a ghost. Sorry I'm trying to explain so it don't get deleted..cuz it always does...if this don't ima be SOOOO amazed. This song is so cathartic for me. I've been angry at an abuser and it feels liberating to be told "it's okay to be angry" versus being told that it's bad for me. Maybe so, but denying his abuse and how it affects me is turning me into a monster and it feels good to let it out sometimes.

Ghost is easily my all time favorite band. Their music is absolutely spectacular. Their albums from start to finish has so much meaning. Every single video they put out sends chill throughout my entire body. Papa never disappoints. Really hope respite on the Spitalfields gets a music video. Fantastic track. This whole album has been on repeat since it's release. You all are amazing. So glad to be a part of this journey. I have to be a part of a ritual at least once in my life.

After discovering this track late last night I can't seem to get it out of my head. Everything about this video works. The music is great, the aesthetic is great, the lyrics are great, it's performed really well, and it mixes like four or five different flavors of rock to create this beautiful mercurial mess of audio deliciousness. I have watched this video HUNDREDS of times over the years and only today noticed that at four parts in this video, Papa has mini-wings on his arms. Timings are approx 1:10-1:11, 1:46ish, 2:10, 2:50. All Ghost videos are packed with stuff like this, but I can’t believe it’s taken me almost 3 years to find these. They just flash for like 1/2 second each.
