I really enjoyed your last story, actually I enjoyed them all but that time shift tale was especially divine. I grew up on Kauai after moving there as a 10 year old son of a Lutheran pastor who was transferred from Hayward California, in 1986. I too belive in the Hawaiian histories and Legends. Not just because that the stories are interesting and unique but because I experienced the people of Kauai and they told me stories as well. I actually witnessed several instances of paranormal or otherworldly circumstances. You have a genuine way about you that I easily find to be factual or at the very least, you belive it to be true. Thank you for sharing and having mutual respect for both the tradition and the noisy haoles , this isn't any sort of easy task. You are gracious and humble but true to the world. Mahalo John Stoddard

Aloha Lopaka. Mahalo nui for all the stories. They keep me involved with the world in this time of staying home. Take care of yourself. Beautiful song. Mahalo again from Whidbey Island. It was nice you mentioned my home island on your live program. Didnt expect it so it was doubly appreciated.

the first story really gave me chicken skin because it's so realistic. that's why i wouldn't be out and about late at night in a known haunted area. in fact, i try not to be out and about late at night at all. like Mailani said last wednesday, we should be home by 9 pm. the only exception is when Lopaka is with us, like on a ghost tour :)

Aloha, I wasn’t huhu about the facebook fail I was able to pick the update and pick up the rest of the story. Mahalo for all the stories. Reminds me of hanabata days when my tutu wahine and my aunties and uncles used to tell stories and make all da keiki scared and run off go moemoe real fast. 😂 The one I remember most it the green lady from Hau Bush all the way at the end at a place we surfers used to call Coves. Maybe you’ve heard stories but I never believed them.

Playing the devils advocate position in this comment…BUT, if Diana and Richard were to spend the money on marijuana…there’s no way the kids would go hungry..because Diane and Richard would be stoned and have the munchies..so in reality, the fridge will be filled with food and the stash spot would be filled with marijuana…🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️LOL
