As even an Amatuer animator it pains me to see such bad animation, more so since I have played the game which has some of the best if not the best 3d anime style animation, second maybe to only studio orange who made Beastars and LotL. The only thing that was actually good was the voice acting, and that is just mostly pulled straight up from the game. So yeah suck it up, I hate both.

I have not watched P4A so I cannot compare them, nor do I plan to. I humbly disagree with you about the things I know and will stand by it till the end. However, I have to admit that even "bad" anime (aka anime considered not good by the mass opinion) are at least good for stuff like drinking games, and thus I can laugh my ass off watching Tevin and the dudes destroy their livers and sanity via them. So even if I think the anime is bad, I can still find enjoyment in it.

So you then eliminate the fact that an enemy can basically one shot your entire team no matter the palace or enemy if hes close to your level. And idk about you, but that is some straight bs. Also, crits land WAY tf more on merciless and if you make an apt pupil brave blade yoshitsune holy shit everything will perish in one hit. I tried merciless for like the first few minutes of Kamoshidas on ng+ and then was like "No, thank you. I actually want to enjoy this game. Seeya.". Hard is way more than enough for you to die a few times on the first run and still enjoy the battles.
