Ghost town. Akamara is an abandoned city in Abkhazia. Lost places in former USSR

While visiting Abkhazia I came to an abandoned city of Akamara. The ghost town which population decreased from 5000 to only 50 people. This is an absolutely off the beaten track

Thank you for this, plus the explanation of why this happened. War. Most beautiful place. Yes, this can happen anywhere. Yes, we, the regular people, wish no more war anywhere. Can Americans live in Abkhazia? I am thinking about it if a certain person is elected president in 2024. Have watched videos of Abkhazia.....looks nice.
