Can you tell it is a movie set? Imagine hiking to a outhouse in winter? No pics on the wall, no humans inhabited these props.

thanks, good post !-i was in Bodie,Ca.,once, and my family and myself spent a few hours there, just looking. In the 70,s ,there were no real tours,or tight tours, with guides, and we got to do alot of roaming.large, mostly intact areas had wire in front,to keep snagging stuff to a minimum,BUT ,being myself,i could not resist taking a nail that i worked loose, from a board.i later made a ring from it.i still have it.As to the curse....the dammed do not fear curse,s....we deal with something alot worse.

I have been there 2 different times when we go camping up at Mono Village for the summer. We stay at our camp site for 5 days and within 3 days we take a small trip to Bodie, the ghost town. I love it and wish I could see or hear a spirit while being there. Hopefully maybe some day I will.

There is an odd and weird feeling when one is in such a place. The structures and artifacts speak of a long gone era where this place might have been a nice place to live.
